As much as I would like some of these appearances, I just realize I didn’t attempt them. I’m not entitled to them.
WoW is a 20 year old game, and to keep immersion, and to keep in line with the “World” part of the game’s title, it should have some things to mirror irl.
I would have loved to have gone to the original Woodstock but I wasn’t even born yet. I wish I could have went to Star Wars opening night in 1977 but I wasn’t born yet.
It is the same thing in WoW.
Some of us were around for Legion and didn’t get some of these appearances because we didn’t try or didn’t complete the challenge. While others didn’t start playing WoW until after Legion ended.
These aren’t arguments to why you should have something or why something should return though. The mage tower represents a specific time in WoW’s history and you were either there for it or you weren’t.
Simple as really.

It’s not the same thing.
In the real world you can’t go back in time. It’s not possible.
In WOW everything you can or cannot get is ultimately some arbitrary decision made by someone in a cubicle working a few hours to feed their families and could be reversed tomorrow if they so chose.

WoW is digital yes, but it is a world. There should be some things that not everyone can have just like real life.
Either way, creating endless topics on it and slinging around petty insults when people don’t agree with you and behaving worse than children isn’t acceptable. If that isn’t the epitome of entitlement I don’t know what is.

Ignore him or her. Any time someone ask for something he/she will contradict everything OP says. This person is crusader regards post like this. Calling other kids while defending his imaginary achievement as well earned and exclusive. You said it the best both sides are kids and have childish behavior. Sadly one side missed stuff due real life reason , and obligation, while other side has nothing productive to do outside this game so ofc this is their only achievement
I mean Blizzard decided to bring back Chinese servers back, and ofc they will get achievements and stuff that will is no longer obtainable, and that are gone. If they actually decide to do that that would be really bad on their side while ignoring active community

If you’re talking about the mage tower skins,
if they’re going to bring that back, they’d better bring back those Challenge mode sets from MoP back.
In other words, if something which was time-limited is going to become obtainable again, don’t make exceptions. Apply it to all. (this would apply to mounts as well)
I assume there are many players who missed out on some parts of the game.
Some missed unobtainable mounts from classic, challenge mode sets from mop, mage tower skins, various season limited gladiator mounts etc.
The list keeps on going.
If Blizzard only re-introduced the time-limited mage tower skins, it would be extremely unfair to players who missed out on other parts of the time-limited-aspects of the game.
Which is why I say, “bring back everything” or “bring back nothing”.

I don’t know why they didn’t do a recolored weapon from each spec instead of giving us a 5th recolor of an armor set.
Because that armor set was the 
for a lot of classes. I get it.
But yeah, I’d have preferred to get the warden staff and fiery warglaives.
It’s a sad fact. I had a bad retail job with FU work times so I didn’t play most of Legion. By the time I could play, my dad got cancer. Ya I wasn’t playing when my dad had cancer. So I missed all the mage tower skins.
My dad is cancer free now at least. Cancer can kick rocks.
If they handed out a shirt for a race in 2017, and if you then ran that lap in 2024 you wouldn’t expect to get a 2017 shirt. You’d expect to get a 2024 shirt. And asking for a 2017 shirt is just cringey/poser behavior. Like 20 year olds wearing 80’s concert tees.
They correctly navigated this before with the ZA bear.

I believe the phrase here is apples to oranges. The rewards from old mage tower to new are different genres. Also I have no issue with the way they did za so nice gotcha I guess?
Yeah, it probably should have been recolors of the weapons. It’s a little sad how the armor sets fell out of vogue when Dragonflight nerfed the tower though.
Scarcity is value and all that.
Please, comprehension is required. I wasnt comparing the events, I was commenting on Ion’s ability to switch his stance on game decisions.
He changed his stance on something that was quality of life. Players need these things implemented, especially newer players. On the other hand, not having a certain t-mog isn’t going to make the game difficult on anyone who plays.

Honestly i wouldn’t care if mage tower gave druids a Mog set or special weapons but the fact that they locked not 1, not 2, but 4 appearances behind MT is insane, that’s like them locking Hair styles or Hair colors behind MT.
If something had to be exclusive it should of been the felbear, the other 4 appearances should of been given to everyone so we have more variety.
