The neon colored cat forms would be nice to see return but I’m a tad sad I couldn’t get the owl staff and the scythe’s mage tower skin before it left. Also…a tad annoyed they forced the one skin of the mage tower bear form I wanted…to be a PvP skin I’ll probably never get

Lmao, I completed the mage tower challenges on a different priest, so this one can’t even perform tasks to unlock the other artifact tints. I love this system.

I want the mage tower skins to come back as there is a pedestal for it at the class order halls which is impossible to fill now.
Alternatively, the mage tower transmog set helm could sit there.

I have all the druid appearances from the OG mage tower, and I am 100% for people being able to unlock them.
I think theyre cool af and I want to see them out in the world and as time goes by you see less and less of them as people reroll classes or quit the game.
Who are we even gatekeeping it for anymore? I dont even play my druid so its certainly not me lol

It’s not gatekeeping. Time-limited rewards are good for the game because they incentivize completing content when it’s current and drive community cooperation toward shared goals. Blizzard going back on their word on rewards actually being limited undermines that reward structure.
I can’t help but notice that OP hasn’t completed the Timewalking mage tower now. There’s a skin for the werebear waiting for them right there. But people always only want what they can’t have.

Tbf the current mage tower one is fel themed which does not really align with the fantasy of druid.
Whereas the removed one does fit the fantasy.
I dont think i would be wanting to use the fel themed skin if i was playing a regular night elf druid.

I have all the MT druid forms as well and I hope they all come back. I wish everything would come back and no more FOMO crap is ever put in.

Why does that matter? If people are going to engage with the content they will engage with the content. It doesn’t matter how many pvp sets are unique and will never return, I STILL won’t engage with pvp.

I feel like there’s a point to made in these threads about the mage tower mogs that often gets missed: The reason why people complain about the legion mage tower mogs so much more than any other FOMO mog in the game is a simple one. It is also a very unique one that does not share commonality with pretty much any other FOMO reward in the game. And that is the fact that these rewards were class rewards.
Take the DH mage tower mogs for havoc for example. They’re literally a complete overhaul and updated version of Illidans original glaives from BT. Sure they’re smaller and the blade has been replaced by a flame. But there’s a very good reason why there isn’t a single other glaive mog in the game where the blade is a pure flame. It’s this class specific uniqueness that makes the mage tower mogs the perenial pain point for so many.

I’m all for Blizzard bringing the MT bear/cat appearances back, but I would hope they would give those who had all the forms a little something, so we can get a reward as well. Maybe it would be another tint to felbear and sparkle kitty?
