Gold is money. Money is time. I don’t know what you do to make gold or how fast you make it but I very much suspect you’re probably working for $5/hour or less when you do the conversions.
Yes, but that doesnt mean that only 2-300k is being made monthly.
Playing the game isnt really something id call working. I enjoy it.
With that ideology, you will always be behind in an mmo. Perhaps stop worrying about being behind anyone and just play the game.
Three days are nothing. They all do this now.
If the wow token costs 200-300k monthly, and you’re paying with gold, doesn’t that mean you need to be making on average 200-300k a month to support paying with gold?

yes, but that doesnt mean im limited to/only making 200-300k gold a month. Thats like, 2 hours of m+ carries.
Wrong I didn’t buy it for EA this is why I brought it, stop trying to make statements about the player base that you have no idea about now …
“Problem is many of us didn’t buy the Epic set for EA…we brought it cause of the Mount…the pet…which in turn turned into 3 more pets later on …the transmog…they 1,000 Trader Tenders…many of us could careless about EA now”
You still supported the EA practice, it doesn’t matter if you bought it for the pets, the only way to make Blizzard stop doing this is by NOT BUYING, period. You don’t care about what’s wrong and making the game better.
You’re not the only one. I bouht the Epic edition because of other stuff and only found out it included early access VERY recently
There were like …other items man,…long pause… You know?
they will absolutely do it again , every MMORPG does this now, grow up and cry moar

Are you advocating that you want them to delay the expansion release for 4 days unless you pay $40 extra? You are celebrating that as a good thing? A good change from just releasing the game like they did vanilla and 9 other expansions?
Look call it how ever you freaking want …when I brought Epic TWW I didn’t see anything about EA at all…all I saw was what I listed and also one other thing I could do beta if I wanted too …which I didn’t…oh and 30 day sub included…so stop trying to blame the player base for this now I brought the Epic in good faith …go talk to Freaking Blizzard about it.
Its not 4 days its 3 days…hour for hour it works out too 3 days…
I hope they keep doing early access. It’s been super smooth and I’m already buying the epic editions of every expansion anyway.
Its not 4 days its 3 days…hour for hour it works out too 3 days…
EA - Thursday at 3pm PDT (8/22)
Release - Monday at 3 pm PDT (8/26)
That is 96 hours, or 4 days.
How are you getting 3?
it actually is technically 4/5 days.
thursday
friday
saturday
sunday
monday
This divides the player base.
Good. 200,000 people all trying to shove through a door at the same time is obnoxious. Add another tier for 3 days early access before the early access. Stagger releases over 4 tiers, do it Blizzard you cowards. Make it the best expansion launch ever.
Same thing will happen when people learn that M+ was nerfed to the ground to help raiding participation.
To be fair, I don’t think they ever meant for M+ to completely bypass raid content either. It just sort of morphed into that somehow.
This all just needs separate gear systems that only work for that kind of content at this point. It can all be the same ilvl out in the open world. To make it fair.
They could have sold it as a 5usd “side cart” item, or it could have just been access to special “premium” shards for the first week.
Either of those would have been far more consumer friendly than what they did, I wish I could play the launch with my friends. Unfortunately, I would rather keep my self respect than give Blizzard money they do not deserve.
Meh. I paid for it, ended up having to work so I can’t use it, and still don’t mind it. Won’t make much difference in the long run, and keeps the game profitable so they can keep paying artists.
It was successful at generating huges amounts of revenue with zero extra investment. So it will be the new baseline from here on out, now that they learned the consumer will tolerate it.
