I say this as someone with it. This divides the player base. It creates all sorts of weirdness like Honor getting zeroed out even if you don’t have Early Access and Comp Stomp getting scaled to 80 mid-event and now not queueable by anyone at all unless you’re level 80.
Oh and I just discovered that LFR is now closed, even at level 70, if you have EA or you don’t have EA. Are Normal+ raids open?
The Epic edition came with a bunch of things. It was $20 more than the lower edition and comes with 30 days of Game Time so costs almost nothing, really.
I would’ve been just as happy if the Epic edition didn’t have Early Access.
So you can keep blaming random people on the forums but the problem is Blizzard.
I at least recognize that this creates a really negative experience for the people who don’t have Early Access. Real life is about how much money you have. People escape to video games because it generally doesn’t. Now we know that pretty much everything in WoW can be (and is) bought.
But why are we going out of our way divide guilds and players from friends?
This is true, the game doesn’t come out till the 26th but they are halting what 70s can do on the 22nd as if the game has dropped, that makes no sense.
It was literally the worst thing they could have done for this expansion. For a game like this early access makes no sense. In fact early access never makes any sense for any game. Its just scummy FOMO.
Yep, anyone without early access should just not login at all until Monday and see what kind of response that gets from Blizz when that portion of the players don’t engage with the game at all.
I watched a few streams the last hour and a half and I’m now convinced I will not buy TWW. Doing pathfinder with ground mount? No thank you. The area is huge, empty and boring.
