I donāt think your opinion is unpopular. I mean, people quit because they were stuck at 8/10. Guilds were nice and healthy when the entire realm was 14/14

The content really is not that difficult. Why nerf 15 year old raids that have been solved for over a decade? If you canāt clear SWP thatās on you and not the game difficulty.

Challenging content that makes people struggle and then feel good about themselves when they finally achieve something difficult is much better than easy content that everyone blows through because those people will then come to the forums and complain about not having anything to do.

I enjoy progressing properly.
Week 1 we got 1st boss down after about 5 attempes (people just getting used to the fight) and then we have been stuck on brutalus because healers are still adjusting to that and roster boss hurt us week 2 because we lost the āweakā who dont like progression (still downed the first boss with missing 3 ācoreā people) We have already refilled and are ready for week 3 this weekend.
They needed an enh who could drop totems when asked and not die.

Drop the totems, pop the consumes, dont stand in bad stuff.
Thats why Iāll never accept people calling for nerfs. If someone else can kill it, then the content can be done, simply do it.
I think itās fine once most advanced guilds have it on farm to nerf it so more casual guilds can.

Its not like this game is super intensive. The GCD is a limiter, the movement requirements are not arduous. The adaptability is not excessively demanding.
Why can players not be told āthis is the bar, if you dont reach it, DO WHAT OTHERS DID AND GET THERE.ā
EDIT: When I killed Brutallus in the first release, it was after Enrage. I wouldnt be shocked if big pumper guilds are getting him inside 4.5 minutes. (Whats the fastest?) and 5 minutes is not asking much.
Point? We are all dramatically better than before, for any number of reasons, and yet people cannot get there, still? Then they should improve!
Exactly lol. The game is very easy.
When you play retail and push high keys these raids just seem so easy. Retail is good practice for tbc raids tbh. helps moving around and prioritizing targets and such.
Why tho? the gear scaling in SWP is absolutely insaneā¦

Yep, that too. I almost wish the raid was gated as it was originally, so people would be forced to go back to BT/Hyjal and keep farming, while slowly adding in bosses.
As it is, people see others go 6/6, and cry that they deserve to kill the same bosses, despite not putting in the work.
Many guilds arenāt killing enough bosses to see that, and weāre likely not going to have a super long phase.

I was asked to do a job. I did that job very well. Thats not a carry lol. Did i 99 parse? Hell no.
A carry would entail AFKing in the corner / dying off the rip so you dont screw up the raid.
