Please nerf Sunwell step-by-step

Is Sunwell in the 2.4.3 state? Or do people want it nerfed beyond that?

We are. On scheduled raid nights.

Retail Andy’s man, they want LFR everything.

Where in my comment did I mention LFR? Don’t worry, I’ll wait.

eye roll ok bro.

:joy: The name means warlock is easy mode in TBC.

I think players who want the challenge can clear 6/6 in 6-8 weeks. I just want more players involve to the raid not waiting for WLk

Your argument boils down to raid logs are down over christmas and a raid released midweek didn’t see a lot of boss clears yet? Tbc has seen a pretty consistent number of characters in raid logs, just over 300k most weeks, for a year now.

The ssc nerf was bad enough. Nerfing sunwell when it already has been allotted less time than kara would be inexcusable. People who spent all that time on the ptr and clear day 1 won’t care, it will mean very little to add one more gearing option to casuals, and mid level casual/serious guilds get wrecked. What you seem to want is retail where Blizzard caters to supercasuals doing lfr or super sweaty mythic raiders. You already have that option so why do you insist on making this game the exact same?

It’s not Christmas. I use the second week of December data (last week pre-nerf) to compare the P2 second week.

I don’t get this, the progression is fun. Also if they nerf it they decrease the value in doing old raids for people who are behind the curve and stuff. We’re going to have access to badge gear on my server any minute now probably.

At least give people the opportunity to try and find a solution to not being able to week one clear LOL, like farming gear and revisiting other raids… that’s how it’s supposed to be. As long as there are reasonable catch-up mechanisms (which there are), this is good.

I remember you from back when SSC and TK were hard asking for nerfs. You know the content is going to end up getting tuned waaaay down, so why not just let people enjoy their time with the raid? If you don’t enjoy raiding now, novel idea, don’t raid and just come back when the content is at a level your guild can kill.

Go farm BT or Hyjal, help your realm unlock the island, go outside and socialize with people irl. Then, when the content is nerfed, you can come back and do easy mode for free loot. Everyone knew this was going to be hard, just like Vashj and KT, and the majority of players want to actually progress in a game they enjoy playing (not retail).

I found this hilarious to read lol. Its not me i’m asking for nerfs for, its for everyone else that actually need it. My guild has had BT and Hyjal on farm since release, its a joke.

I don’t think this part is true. Look at warcraft logs. Not even half the existing guilds have even stepped into sunwell. Most of those that have, still haven’t killed the first boss. They’ll soon be in here, asking for nerfs. I’m just advocating from them. I’m okay with difficult content, I just feel bad for the lesser skilled players that still have fun killing bosses.

Notice how after SSC/TK nerfs the game became more lively? People came back to actually clear the content that they spent months smashing their head against the wall with. Nerfs aren’t a bad thing if it helps the overall health of the game.

The current player base is so scrubby.

The nerfs are coming. They said the nerfs are coming. I hope we get 4-6 weeks with the content like this before the nerf comes.

I think you’d find that a lot of people left after the nerfs came too.

My guild had an extremely short try on PTR, we just had a handful of people interested in trying and we saw Kalec and Brutallus for a few pulls. We went in virtually naked and blind, and still got Eredar Twins first (and only) night, even with how scuffed the release was.

Just how fast do you want to leave TBC?

Flagged for troll

The PTR was available for 4 total days but
6 weeks from now people who are still struggling will still be saying “the people who cleared it week 1 PTR’d”

Despite putting way more time in already than any of the week 1 guilds ever did.

It’s always such a bad faith argument.

Yep, 4 days of basically never having to worry about consumables, and just burning through everything over and over and over again.

It’s not a bad faith argument, it’s a matter of fact.

It hasn’t even been released for a month yet. Chill

Nah, the raids should be tough enough that GDKPs can’t carry people in them. Either make the cost of attending a GDKP so high it kills it for most, or outright make it impossible to carry people in the capstone raid of the expansion. That’s how to solve the rmt problem in WoW.
