Please let us fight in Visage form or let us transmog more stuff onto our Dracthyr Evoker!

No, dragon powers need dragon body. Use chosen identity. Literally he out of dragon form for majority of your gameplay

works fine with toys so its not like they need to do any work

im convinced its just spite from the developers. the woman who designed evoker REALLY wants you to play as their ugly fetish dragon.

Yeah, because toys are seen as canon

You play an earthen. You’re the last to talk lol

Agree to disagree, but not in the literal 1:1 sense. I think keeping the unique customizations and animations to the original races should stick - while the rest of the races should be able to also become those classes just in a lesser / normal form that don’t retain the ‘heightened’ forms. IE: Dracthyr are dragons, they will use their mouths and tails for things that are clearly physical and manifested in their body.

But whose to say they can’t just emulate that with some sort of ethereal visage that mimics a tail or dragon? We have Dragon’s breath on Mage which is quite literally a dragon’s head breathing fire and no one really questions that. That kind of creative differences between the two I think works perfectly fine for lore / visual related reasons.

People are thinking too literally or 1:1 which doesn’t work well.

Then they’re not evokers but just mages.

I mean yeah, and Dracthyr aren’t actual dragons casting pure dragon magic either, they’re derivative by nature. They’re an experimental creature that was made for the specific purpose of using multiple dragon flight magics together. But clearly the arcane inclined within the game’s lore can already harness and perform similar spells or many different forms of magic.

WoW’s lore is very flexible, it’s not like it hasn’t been totally broken or rewritten multiple times now.

dude its ok to be wrong. clearly your not use to being right since you play a goblin

But they are using pure aspect power. That is literally their lore hence why they had to have dragon like bodies.

And yes, arcane can mimic what dragons do,after years of studying while dracthyr use know how to use their aspect powers by instinct.

It’s the difference between sorcerer and wizard in DND.

So what you want is a mage that mimics evoker magic but not an actual evoker.

Sure, why not, you’re the one playing Kul’tirans which are still problem with their melee sounds.

havent played my kt druid since the end of bfa. im to lazy to change my forum toon but im actually playing my evoker cause while i enjoy the class i dont like the lazy race that the dracthyr are. but oh yea melee sounds are such a problem lol i didnt even know it was a problem since i couldnt care less

Cheers then

That’s quite literally what I was saying with my original post, yes. They mimic or use alternative methods to use similar magic. One retains the original fantasy and look of the OG class, while the others use alternative methods to play the same experience but in a different form.

Not really something that is really out there in terms of solutions that keeps the fantasy alive as well as the lore.

So the other races “evokers” are just mages. Seems weird but okay.

but its not. thats like saying warlocks are mages to cause they use magic or moonkin druids

And evokers are just “dragon mages” by design. Boiling it down like that isn’t interesting though, is it.

are shamans mages too because they can use frost and fire spells???

by his logic yes everything that uses magic that isnt a dragon is a mage. this does include the dracthyr evokers to though

The aren’t. Evokers are sorcerers.
