no i understand what your trying to do but its not helping your argument. its just showing that you have nothing to use in the game to makr a argument so you have to use another game to try.
So you understand the concept of what I’m saying but also failing to grasp that when using analogies, they don’t need to come from the same source…hence why it is called an analogy. You’re comparing one thing to something similar in another.

well there are other books tv comics and other various media of humans and other bipedal races being able to use dragon magic. so evokers can be on any race in the game. again your argument is moot.

I think the latter is a nice compromise in the meantime. They honestly should’ve made the visage form usable from any race, but I understand the amount of time and effort needed to do that is alarmingly high for little return.

I don’t think they’re a troll, just very confident in their outlook on how the class should function / look. Stubborn if you will, but not in a bad way. They clearly care enough to talk about it in detail.
I call it passionate and no where near a troll. I already see them doing bad class and race combos, looking at the lightforged warlocks for one, and I hate to see them throw everything away about the dracthyr and evoker lore just to appease people.
At that point, what is even the point.
Honestly I would have preferred not having any of the extra customization differences you see in the current visages. I’d want mine to actually blend in with the race I want.
I am the opposite, love seeing the different scale patterns I could put on, the horns and horn ornaments, the chains, the gold tips on my ears. Love it.

I don’t think it’s about direct appeasement but more about variety, attraction and asset justification (They wanna make sure they didn’t waste resources on something no one uses). I think the main reason we don’t see other races have the ability to play DH is due to the fact it’s on each faction and one of the most popular races for each side. More than enough appeal to keep it as such.
Dracthyr are… Clearly, unfortunately, not the most liked for some valid (and not) reasons. They opened up other classes to Dracthyr to increase the usage and representation too. Not that the intent wasn’t to always support additional classes - they admitted to wanting that since the start (Or open to it, anyways).
Yeah, that makes sense because not all dracthyr became evokers, only the top of the top who could master all 5 aspects were evokers. The elites of elite.
yeah, neltharion couldn’t control them, so they weren’t useful. i also did the dragonflight quests, bub. i remember breaking the infinity gauntlet in the titan bunker plenty well. it was dumb, silly lore, which is all the dracthyr kinda have. they’re literally concocted from nothing, so it’s not as though fidelity to concept means anything at all.
Literally all the lore in warcraft come from nothing but imagination. Difference is if it fits the rest of the lore and dracthyr do. Chromoatic dragons are the failed experiments of Neferian trying to copy his fathers experiments.
Now we know that experiment is the Dracthyr. Now that chapter is closed on that long forgotten book.
But they weren’t “put into the broom closet” because they were useless, it was because they were dangerous.

Mate, Dragonoid are the same thing but bigger without wings and dragonspawn smaller but with 4 legs. They are all unrealistic.
All three of these were created by the dragons.
