Have many streamers expressed interest in these new realms? I feel like there will be fewer of them than in prior launches, and those that do play might elect to stay on the normal PvP realm since there’s only one this time.
I saw Esfand joined the PvP discord already, and hes friends with the other larger streamers.
For collaboration and content, they would WANT to stay together as a streamer community.

This is the furthest thing from the truth. Yes, as others have mentioned there were non-RPers, but we were able to co-exist with those people with ease (for the most part). With the streamers already invested in their “community building” via the pvp discord, and others more interested in the HC realm, seems like a plausible chance that we could avoid what happened in SoD and try and recapture that atmosphere.
On the other hand, Grobbulus had SO much going for it in terms of the RP community. Tons of community driven events ranging from PvP, to holiday parties, annual celebrations, you name it. Guilds had interweaving stories brewing between one another. It was a vibe that you had to be there for.
Worst comes to worst, the server dies and they transfer us all to the mega-server and we can say we tried.

Thanks for clearing that up and agreeing we don’t need a separate rppvp server.
Whichever way it shakes out, even though I think it’s best that we have one, if we don’t then we’ll be doing everything we can to build a place for our folks on the PvP realm that drops. BYO-RP, if you will. We’re pumped as hell.

There’s such a huge difference between “you can RP on this server” and “it’s normal to RP on this server”. that’s what the need is.

The key difference there is the fact that it was a dedicated RPPVP server, where its actively encouraged to get in character. And where the streamers WEREN’T already planning to set up shop.

I don’t believe anyone is worried about the weight of your words, dear.
Your behavior is another main factor why the environment and community is very different between PvP and RPPVP servers.

I feel like you probably haven’t played on an RP server before; the atmosphere is vastly different from a standard realm, and it isn’t solely due to the roleplayers. People tend to be more kind and understanding on RP realms, regardless of whether they roleplay or not; I can’t imagine that the standard PvP realm will have such an atmosphere.

You could of described how hard it was to coexist as a point to your argument but you didn’t, infact you said it was “easy”.
Coexisting alongside non-RPers is completely different than coexisting alongside toxic players.
They are not the same.
