I can’t wait for the next chance to be able to chart out a character on an RPPVP server and be able to appreciate the community atmosphere that Grobbulus servers like it have. I have had many really fun RP and Gameplay experiences with people, and the community is always strong and leads to everyone getting immersed into the World of Warcraft and trying to make their best version of Azeroth.

This was a copyediting mistake that hopefully affected only that tweet. There are exactly three new realms. The number is three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out.

The queues will be huge, a few hours later they will release an additional server, perhaps an rp-pvp one, but it will be too late. In a month or two, the person in charge of the servers will argue in a tweet that the server is not growing, so he has decided to close the server and allow for free transfers to the initial megaserver.

This sadly happens to many servers because they just haven’t learned yet.

Then again, i remember the Wrath new server launch fiasco, so i don’t have a lot of faith in them not messing with servers.

A convincing case for rp servers: a man literally streamed drinking his own pee on the discord right now. I would like to be separated from the pee drinkers. I’m not joking, this actually happened just now.

In the entire scene that Kaivax is referencing, King Arthur still miscounts and ends up saying the number five… So, against all reason, I’m going to hold onto some hope that he’s just trying to be cheeky and clever with this as a sort of “clue” that we’re going to end up with a total of 5 servers.

It’s definitely a cess-pool. Mega servers tend to have that problem though, theres no where else to go.

I mean frankly, Blizzard is probably a lot more likely to listen to “We aren’t going to play without an RP server” than to “Well… I guess we’ll just go on the PvP server and make do…”

Right there with you, just not worth it trying to mesh with literally every other person who wants to be on a PvP server - based off what I am hearing about that discord at least.

Love the game, but a SIGNIFICANT portion of that love comes from the social aspect and the social aspect is only enhanced whenever I am playing with (presumably) a community that is of a similar mind set in terms of how they like to experience Azeroth.

And no, I will not roll on the PvE server either as I will then be missing out on both wPvP AND RP.
