I would definitely roll on an RPPVP server if they included one for the fresh Anniversary Realms! I feel that an RPPVP server would be the ultimate fresh Classic experience for a lot of WOW fans spanning multiple generations - I think tons of people have a lot of fond memories dating all the way back to the OG Silver Hand, Cenarion Circle, Feathermoon RP servers, to memed Moon Guard, to the first RPPVP servers like Emerald Dream & Venture Co, to the more recent Grobbulus and Crusader Strike initiatives for initial Classic and SOD. I’m sorry if I missed a few Realms over the two decades, but I’ve re-subbed many times over the years and that spark is still there. The vibes, immersion, roleplaying, communities, and player emergence that RP and RP-PVP servers offer are unmatched, and I think it would be a slam dunk for Blizz and for its communities to include a single RP-PVP for the 20th Anniversary.

Not enough player base probably to split the RP communities. Only RPPVP is really needed.
While I believe both should have homes, we’re gonna be lucky to get this one (RPPVP).

Grobbulus was so much fun and the RP aspect made it special! Please add this server type for the anniversary launch.
I didn’t get to experience much of it myself, so hearing stories about OG Grobb makes me smile. I was never big on PVP in any game, but the RP-PVP community events (in both retail and classic WoW) definitely got me excited for it. Blacktooth Grin on VeCo was a fun group too!
Keep it going, folks! We’ll get our realm. And it will be awesome.
It only makes the PvP server actually less toxic and brings RP people in wich are really fun to interact with in classic.
Please change the PvP server to RPPvP

Mega servers are what some players want, but not all.
Mega servers are not ideal for RP realms because the point of RP is to get to know passing strangers and build meaningful relationships with them, to have story arcs with them.
Mega servers are what YOU want, and it’s why WE are asking for a different experience.
I am in favor of having a RP-PVP Realm, going back for Classic Relaunch I was super excited to have the announcement of 1 server of each type, only to find out RP-PVP was not listed amongst the “types”. Please please please add a RPPVP Server. My time on classic Grobbulus was the best WoW experience. Please let me relive that on another PRPVP realm
PvPers should have their own server so they can enjoy their guild names and chosen character names, and not everyone enjoys RP.
That is what makes each server great, it allows people to join their chosen communities to fit their playstyles.

Honestly though, I genuinely want the players “Gigarogue,” “Nuckchorris,” and “Trapslol” to have a server where they’re surrounded by players of a similar mindset and don’t need to worry about somebody taking a second before a pull to ask the Earthmother for her blessing in a macro. They deserve to have the kind of fun they prefer too, with as little friction as possible to make that happen, and without dorks making snarky comments about their character names, and vice versa.
New Blizz post up with what realms are what type. Still no mention of RPPVP is incredibly disappointing

We can hope. At least they’re aware of the demand. My worry is they leave it till after launch and then it’s going to be too late.
There’s no way entire guilds and communities will move days or weeks later.
