Indeed. I am personally fine with these adjustments.
Dual spec makes it easier for tanks and healers to fill roles, and for PvPers to be able to raid.
The debuff limit hindered a lot of folks rotations and nerfed classes unintendedly.
I am going to guess the debuff limit back then was hardware related. Now we have servers that can handle such a load.
All good changes announced this morning. Now we need 1 more. RPPVP server!

One of my favorite things is doing minor RP, like the Bluffwatcher guild âsummon botâ warlock toon that I leveled just high enough to summon folks to RP events. The RP was that itâs an UD that hears torturous voices and feels excruciating pain when thereâs someone in the party/raid but who isnât physically present, and she screams CLICK IT CLICK IT CLICK IT AHHHHHH while performing the summoning ritual until they arrive
Another is a Tauren shaman named Bullshevik which is trying to spread class consciousness among the other members of the horde, but who gets some parts mixed up because of the different way âclassâ is used in-game versus irl

It opens the door for lots of complaining.
Then OCE wants their own server and so does RP-PVE.
Then you have east and west coast.

What is stopping people from RPing on a non-rp realm?
Proâs of a RP-PVP guild, or atleast why I played on DD, was a single layer and it was an east coast server (unlike WM - cant fish PST hours). I would play on a fresh RP-PVP realm if it was a single layer; however, my fear is it wouldnât be a single layer and cause player base fracturing more than there already is across the wow landscape.

Griefers. If you try to RP on a non-RP realm you will be griefed by idiots jumping around you, and disrupting your scenes.
How do RP realms police that type of activity?
They hire the all dwarf guild for security
Being on a RP server is alot more than just being in a RP guild
Alot of people are in character in the world as well and just interacting with others is alot of fun
Being on a non rp server you are forced into trying to find RP microcosms and it makes it alot more difficult to find things naturally
There used to be separate RP server rules that including bans for distupting RP events. However, that was mostly community policed in 2019 classic, and worked quite well. If someone was a knob, they were called out in trade chat and discord and most guilds wouldnât take them.
I donât think that will be the case, if there is only three servers available for fresh. There will inherently be more RP players playing on non-rp realms; thus, it will be easier to rp outside of rp realms.
