Please give us Dual Spec

If that was the case that would also mean dps would be in demand for dungeons and I guess I’d just spam those to 70 and not complain about it while getting juicy upgrades and rep at the same time

Tanks and healers can do this novel thing call going to the trainer, paying a fee and respecing if they decide they need to do so in order to farm.

Yes, it was a non-answer in that you did not confirm or deny my question about what you stated. Instead you opted for “well just think whatever you want” basically. I assume because you realized there was no way to make that statement appear as anything but the way I classified it without completely back tracking, and just agreeing to the characterization makes your whole argument look bad and pretty baseless.

Either way, again, we shouldn’t just go adding things to the game because someone decided they didn’t think it was fun to farm things in a healer spec when they can already go and switch specs to something they find more enjoyable to farm with or get someone to help them farm.

No, they’d still be too many dps for the too few tanks and healers. It would just make the game out side of groups as difficult for dps as it is for tanks or healers.

Than why would anyone stay dps? They can’t quest they aren’t needed for dungeons? Stop being ridiculous. Every roll has there pros and cons if your a dps and can’t find a group QUEST! You excel at it!

Let’s make it so that dps has to respec if they want to farm too.

Clearly Blizzard thought differently because they added dual spec. We can learn from that and add a wrath change in BC.

Or… and follow me on this one… you can wait until Wrath and have it then.

Or don’t roll a tank or healer. I’ve already made it clear I’m not going resto on my druid. There are others that make that same decision. Just don’t complain when you find it hard to find a tank or healer for your group. I’m sure you can find fun solo questing and farming.

Or I can ask for it now. It would be far from the first change blizzard has made to classic

Right, and I can tell you that if you don’t like farming on a heal speced character how to do it on a non-heal speced character. You knew the consequences of being a healer before you started. It’s not the games fault that you have a subjective opinion.

Pretty much goes without saying. If you don’t want to play a tank or healer, just don’t. Play the dps role.

I won’t, considering I tank myself.

It’s really the only thing we agree on, though you didn’t seem to understand it when I said it.

WoW Classic community: Classic feels so much more like an MMO because people actually interact with each other.

Also WoW Classic community: Give me dual spec so I can do everything by myself.

Let me share a personal experience of mine recently. I’m ret because it’s easier to quest and I was looking for a group to run sethekk halls for hours. Finally right before I was about to call it quits and go to bed for work we found a tank, so I decided to stay up an extra hour and sacrifice sleep to get that run in knowingly I may not have another opportunity while I’m that level. I was eyeing that 2 hand axe Crow Wing Reaper praying it would drop… it did and I won the roll. The feeling that gave me to win it with all the bs I have go through was what makes the game so great and rewarding. With dual specs I can just go prot farm the dung knowing I’ll get it eventually and that feeling wouldn’t be the same.

I’m saying give me dual spec so I can heal in dungeons and quest and farm. Just like a dps can do dungeons and quest and farm. No dual spec is forcing me to choose a dps spec to quest and farm alone and do much less dungeon groups.

You can do anything as any spec. You might be inefficient in ways others aren’t, but that is the tradeoff when you specialize into something.

I get that you like looking for a group for hours because that’s the same authentic problem you had in BC. You can continue to have fun looking for a group for hours even if I switch specs to dungeon group, quest, or farm. I play to have fun in the game and waiting for hours to find a group isn’t fun for me. I think it’s a game design flaw that was corrected in Wrath. We can learn from history and make the change now.

I can do this in resto spec. What’s the rush?

That’s the trade off I have to make if I specialize in healing. When I specialize in dps I don’t have to make that trade off. So I won’t do it on my druid. I’m going feral and that’s one less healer on the server. So I’ll group less and solo more than I would if I had dual spec and healed in dungeons

Learn from history. But only the history that is relevant- not the part where the community aspect died and we ended up with a game that no one really likes.

If you don’t like retail, why not? It has all the latest and greatest stuff that everyone wanted. But I guess it has stuff that you didn’t want.

But that doesn’t matter, because it made the game better!
