It didn’t stop people from complaining about it 15 years ago why should it stop us now? If the complaints bother you so much you can choose to skip the dual spec threads. If complaints are such a problem for you you could lessen the number of complaints by not complaining about store mounts or pally seals
With that analogy there were also people against dual specs on the forms as well 15 years ago so what’s to stop us now? Difference is this version of the game has already past and you already know how it’s was so enjoy it while it’s still around.

You’re complaining about the complainers and you’re complaining about the game. The store mounts you’re complaining about are in the game as well as the pally seal. Seems to me you’re complaining about everything.
I’m not a black/white thinker. I’m capable of looking at complex things with nuance and weighing several different factors separately. I can like some things about the game and dislike others. Vanilla was not a perfect game. BC wasn’t flawless. They were good enough to play but needed changes. I’m willing to argue for those needed changes to come faster than they came the first time around
No I haven’t come on the forums to complain about store mounts or seals all I have said that it’s bad enough it’s in the game also I’m also not a black or white thinker and there’s also things I dislike about tbc but I’m not going to whine on the forums for change because I know this is just a resurrected version of the game. Tbc was a gold sink time consuming game where you had to work for things like your gold for respecs… don’t enjoy that? Retails got them dual specs LFR and also 15 min hearthstones bro go check it out you’ll love it.

A resurrected version of the game that has already seen numerous changes. So far none of the changes have mattered to me, some I like. Since the changes to classic and classic BC are changes I support I have no problem asking for other changes to improve the game. If you don’t like the changes perhaps you should consider quitting
No I enjoy the endless grind for rep gold and prerequisites and the punishing consequences of choices example respecing multiple times a week and tryna find a fifth for a dungeon for hours to get that one piece of gear you’ve been staring at on atlas loot. Asking for shortcuts like this dual spec will get rid of a small part of what TBC was and if you add up all the small changes that are alrdy done or being requested TBC won’t be the same.

Dual spec doesn’t have to change anything for you. You can still play how you want. The massive increase in paid mage boosts. GDKP, and World Buffs didn’t change anything for me. I didn’t get involved in that style of play in Vanilla and even though they were much more common in Classic I still didn’t do it. Are you so weak that you can’t resist the temptation and need to deprived everyone of playing the game in the way they find fun.
As I said before if dual spec will make WoW more enjoyable for you go check retail out it’s has it. Why ruin the authenticity of TBC that some or a lot of people enjoy when your needs are fulfilled in the current version? Your not missing out on anything all the raids have been cleared and all the arena metas have been established years ago classic is a trip down memory lane.

This is the stupidest argument anyone ever said about a single change made to the game. As if there was only one change made to the game in 15 years. You claim there are things you dislike about TBC and you’re not a black or white thinker yet seem not to realize that there are dozens of differences between BC and Shadow Lands. If Shadow Lands was the same in every way as BC except for one change, dual specs, I would be playing it. If SL was the same as BC I’d rather play it instead of redoing content I did so many times 15 years ago. If you’re not the fool you seem to be you know Shadow lands is a completely different game in many more ways than dual spec. Because I like one change made in retail doesn’t mean I don’t like a dozen more of the changes.
I’m well aware that shadowlands and tbc are nothing alike but what your asking for is quality of life change that is in shadowlands. How your coming off is that dual spec is needed for the game to be enjoyable and fun some people agree some people don’t. It just damages the authenticity of the game. Retail is the way it is because of the of these small QoL requests and some may say it ruined the game. So why repeat history? It’s almost the second week of tbc release as the months go by everything while stabilized and groups will be easy to find… also I’m sure your not pushing world firsts for raid clears so raid in your pvp spec if you can’t afford respecing it’s not like it will make or break you from performing your roll. Need to farm as a healer? Make a friend and farm together. That’s TBC let’s try and keep it that way.

For all the people you think will dual spec into tank or healer, tanks and healers will become DPS for a break. It will solve nothing. Spoken as a tank who just became a healer because tanking is hell right now.

You have the right to argue for any thing you want. Blizzard has even created this forum for you to make those arguments. There’s been several changes already so if there’s sufficient support for your views you might even get it.
So judging by your non-answer I do have that right then.
Okay, well I’m going to have to go with no. We shouldn’t add things to the game just because some people have a subjective opinion on fun. Especially an opinion that is easily rectified by going and respecing at the trainer.

There’s no reason to repeat history. Blizzard can add some changes and not add other changes.
Yes, most tanks and healers agree and some dps don’t.
If dps had to find a tank or a healer friend every time they wanted to quest or farm you’d be asking for dual spec too.
Then don’t do the parts of the game that you do not find fun. It’ll probably be a relief for you at that point.
