Let’s see em play warrior
You made my point. The gate keeping will never end. Even when you complete the so called “challenge” with their stupid rules they force on everyone, it’s never enough. The so called chill and cool community will continue to look down on others and gate keep according to rules they pull out of their butt.
The majority of classes would prove to be impossible for me.
There’s nothing you can do to make vanilla leveling challenging. The answer to every hurdle in HC is to play in the most boring way possible. It is quite literally “difficult” in the same way that watching paint dry is “difficult”.
you have more faith in the masses than most. it’s going to be a zoomer bloodbath.
I challenge you to try hardcore on a warrior - and since your so confident it won’t be challenging you can’t equip anything other than a weapon or weapon/shield - and yes it’s doable
Zoomers don’t play WoW generally speaking. They definitely aren’t playing HC. Where do millennial boomers pick up this absurd notion?
in addition, the realm first challenges are going to be bloody. guilds will compete, there will be many guild raid wipes.
95% of the people will rush to 60 and die numerous times, myself included.
I’m sure it is, and that contradicts nothing I’ve said. It’s doable by playing in the most boring way possible and eliminating any possibility of death.
I have friends that play that way (overly cautious) in non-HC wow. Some people are naturals and do everything they can to not die. It’s the RPG in them. I admire it.
just implement a debuff making it to where solo self found characters can only play with other solo self founds and anyone who wants to do trading can only play with other players with the same goal in mind.
Because self-control and the addon are too hard? Like y’all do this already.
Really hope Blizz doesn’t complicate this and ends up doing the bare minimum (ie delete on death/no appeals) where players can then customize to their own needs/wants as that’s more inclusive. I want the hc servers to be popular with a broad base of Wow players forming a sizable and stable community.
That is one of the dumbest things I have ever read.
Yeah.
If you roll as a duo or trio and have agreed to all delete if one dies then that’s fine.
But a dungeon or other group with four randos?
Paranoia should keep you from clicking accept to the group.
Are you even playing? There are plenty of people in the higher areas who are playing where you’d normally expect at level. If you grind the lowest mobs possible you’ll take forever.
If I want to keep my profession relevant I typically can grind yellow mobs, but sometimes they need to be higher than me to get the mats I need. Grinding green is useless.
If you don’t, that means we will have bots.
my hot take.
Don’t care, I don’t want the server economy to suffer and the lower level experience to be worst because blizzard can’t deal with bots. Players shouldn’t be “punished” because blizzard can’t deal with the bots.
Bots only operate where it’s profitable, if blizzard cracks down hard and actively weeds out botting, it won’t be an issue.
i.e. I wouldn’t cut off my hand because there was a splinter in my finger, so completely killing trading is an overkill solution to botting, that hurts players more than the presence of botting would hurt players.
If you know anything about botting, you’d know that you cannot combat botting reactively. You’d have to have proactive and preemptive measures to be even a little bit effective. Otherwise, it’s a battle of resources that every company will lose.
Except there are players that want no trading for reasons complete isolated from the botting issues it would bring. Acting as if no trading = cutting of your hand is completely silly. Most people play HC right now without trading.
please tell us how to play in the most exciting way
if i’m forced to play on the same server with you traders I want a clear distinction between us. no mixing of any kind can be tolerated
