I… Did you really just ask to be shown that the Hunter class, is a pet class? Do you even know your own class? Or are you just FOTM?
Do I need to copy paste the definition of the Hunter Class? Directly from Blizzard?
“Hunters battle their foes at a distance or up close, commanding their pets to attack while they nock their arrows, fire their guns, or ready their polearms. Though their weapons are effective at short and long ranges, hunters are also highly mobile. They can evade or restrain their foes to control the arena of battle.”
You apparently don’t otherwise you wouldn’t have asked that question in the first place.
It having zero part of YOUR play doesn’t mean it has zero part of MY play. You’re just unable to think outside of your own head.
I have given many actual solutions. I have yet to receive any actual feedback into how they won’t work beyond vague garbage like “janky” or “convoluted”.
This is like arguing that Destruction and Affliction aren’t a pet class because they have an optimal in group content option to sacrifice the pet.
MM has a pet, by default, unless they go out of their way to get rid of it, which happens to be optimal in group content. But just like Affliction and Destruction enjoy the option of having a Voidwalker for quests and delves, some MM hunters like that option too.
MM has a pet so the hunter could use the utility. That utility is now being baked into the hunter which means the design is backing up the stance that MM hasnt been desiged to use pets since Legion
I’m so happy we have all these pet haters who only do group content telling us how this change is great for them. So great to alienate everybody else who plays the spec, just so long as they get to have fun.
Yea? That only exist for mm because they have a pet lol.
Like exhilaration? Really? That’s a blanket heal.
But you are also so dense, you linked mend pet.
They aren’t. The pet exists for utility.
Most afflic locks sacrifice their pet for buffs, essentially lone wolf.
Destro just exists for flat damage and utility.
You are talking to someone who also heavily plays a warlock and understands their functionality.
Try again.
It’s not even that. You can successfully be a solo hunter without a pet.
It’s just people looking for an echo chamber that think they are the majorty.
Notice them liking each others posts and ganging up.
Umm, actually, since the majority of players do that despicable Mythic and Raiding thing you are dismissing, then yes, the game DOES actually revolve around that. They are here to make money. And if more people want something, then they will cater to those people.
The problems arise when they cater to a small elite group of people. Like basing their content on what the top 1% of Mythics and Raiders want for example. But there are a lot of actual MM Hunters who do actually want changes. You only need to look up any forum posts from the last decade to see that.
Now, whether these changes will work is a different story. On that, from past form, I’d say we are in for a rough few months of bugs and more bugs
It’s especially funny to see some people complain that M+ participation is way down while other people claim it’s something the majority of players are doing.
