A lot of players concerns, gripes, and complaints would never have existed if they had stated we got to keep our pets with the change.
It’s the fact that instead of letting us keep our pets, even after stating they are apart of the identity and should be apart of the MM Spec, They’re instead only providing Hunters this Generic Eagle.
It’s 100% laziness on Blizzards end. Why can’t the Generic Eagle #7, be my pet?
Why are you fighting this? You’ve literally posted the post from Blizzard stating MM is getting a pet, and it should and will be apart of their identity.
It’s like staring at a spoon, saying that’s not a spoon.
That’s exactly what makes it a thing. That’s like arguing that Hunters aren’t really a ranged class just because we primarily use ranged weapons.
Horrible bad example. Nobody is arguing that they’re pet specs. Try again with something approaching an actual honest attempt at discussion instead of rambling non sequiturs.
They should have done it without the eagle. But it’s still not a pet. It’s basically an arcane familiar now that drops by to drop utility.
Marksmanship lose their pet functionalities and it is instead joined in battle by a unique Eagle pet that will exist outside of the game space but continue to support you in combat in a uniquely Marksmanship way."
As somebody who actually is a MM Hunter main, I’d just like to point out that Misdirect works on your Party Tank (Focus and Macro), Exhiliration does not require you to actually have a pet out. And Feign death works find without a pet. Camo is the same.
The No Hard Feelings never gets picked because, well, I don’t use a Pet. So that’s actually one LESS talent I need to mess with. And if I do use a pet (when delving solo) frankly, the content is so trivial that I would still not bother using that Talent.
I did not link misdirect. I linked the talent that specifically affects pets with misdirect.
I also explicitly stated that Exhilaration USED to give more health if you did not have a pet out, specifically for Marksman using Lone Wolf. They removed that because marksman got the ability to use pets back shortly after iut was taken away in WoD.
Good for you. It’s still a talent available to Marksman.
It’s not. That is a disingenuous tangent. The one thing that pretty much ANY genre can agree on is hunters and ranged weapons lol.
You are completely just wrong on this point.
That’s what you’ve been doing this entire time…
I’d say you first, but I feel like you’d get lost in another disingenuous tangent.
Like even blizzard agrees. They say hunters are defined by their pets then immediately state that mm has stood in defiance of that.
Feign Death can be used to reset a mob back onto your pet instead of just resetting the mob entirely. It comes in handy with mobs that your pet can’t taunt and you generate threat faster than MD can come back off cooldown.
