The overwhelming majority which I see wants pet to stay for MM,
and even larger overwhelming majority wants Ion to not touch the game.

There is a very large difference between BM and MM in how it works and plays. I went from BM to MM because I want to feel more in control and allow my pet to keep aggro. BM is more pet than hunter, imo.

Oh, hey, I had decided to stay away from this thread, but someone summoned me back.
BTW, none of the 3 sentences is wrong.
And that is a situation where I dismiss my tank pet because it is group content even though folks aren’t physically grouped together.
I do want add that having the ability to call a tanking pet is valuable on occasion. Since I do group content via DF and LFR having the ability to continue progressing through trash while awaiting a new tank is useful.

I wouldn’t mind being able to forego my pet during survival PVP. Yeah its a huge fantasy loss as far as hunters go cause its what they’ve been built around for years. But man besides BM I think MM should have limited availability along with survival as far as pets go.
Or just open up ALL pets to ALL specializations and let us choose our own variety (which I think they’re already doing, which I’m not upset about.)
This is indeed a company that is supposed to provide entertainment yet they slowly but surely take away our privilege’s and dumb this game down even more.
Whats next? survival gets 1 pet and bm gets 2 pets, no choice, just get what we didnt ask for?

Does auto taunt not get auto shut off in group content for Hunters like it does for Warlocks?
It does until you level up, then you need to turn it on and back off.

Odd but I didn’t know but that’s kind of lame because for Warlock in any type of group content the taunt auto shuts off on Voidlords when you zone in so I always have to click it to make it work if I need it so that’s why I asked.
Its never had a voice. Theres a reason the devs go to the class discords and not the forums.
Then perhaps we need to remove the forums? it serves no purpose.

again archer is a main fantasy class that has nothing to do with pets and is established in the game. there are tons of archers.

Got you because I figured in open world or whatever who cares in group content if it wasn’t working like that I could see someone being bothered so thanks for the clarification.
