Are you dense?
The issues of Lone Wolf have been apparent for years.
What evidence to you have to question how many people’s claims are false?
In what way? I have never seen lone wolf cause a single issue only choice.
And removing pets entirely from the spec is the wrong way to go about it. You can disagree, but you can’t also tell me I’m wrong.
Lone Wolf is a DPS loss in AOE.
So you have to summon your pet, BL, dismiss your pet in AOE.
That is just one example for you.
Yes I can. What exactly do you think disagreeing with you means?
I just think there is a better option to fixing MM hunters than completely removing the pets for all players.
If Lone Wolf is that big of a contention as a minor talent point, why does it exist? Why has it continued to exist? Why hasn’t a better fix come about for the minor talent point?
And if the only point of contention is the fact you have to have a macro to summon, cast lust, and dismiss a pet. Then I guess, Welcome to being in a pet class?
A one size fits all solution indeed doesn’t fit all. Who would have known this rework isn’t going to go over well for literally everbody.
Good question!
Because people wanted a way to play Hunter without a Pet.
Too bad those of us who did not want to lose our pets didn’t see these topics you made/ posted in and tell blizz we disagreed.
Really sounds like someone doesn’t us MS, Volley, Explosive shot, never had a issue. Why shoot a pet in the face because they can’t play or balance aoe abilities?
I don’t really follow what you’re trying to say to me.
I am saying you are possible playing wrong and agreeing that removing a pet will fix the issue?
Wouldn’t have this been something you could have done with less controversy with Survival hunters? You know, if you hadn’t decided hunters should be a random melee spec?
Then I state again, the better long term solution for players who want to be a Ranged Class with Bows/Guns, is to create a Hero Class in Midnight called “ranger”.
You’ve been making due with the resources you’ve had, trying to live out the fantasy of being a ranger with a class designed around having pets.
Instead of removing that part of the class fantasy to fit the fantasy of being a ranger, The class itself should be developed.
You understand Lone Wolf buffs the damage your MS, Volley, Explosive shot does, right?
So again I’m not really sure I follow you.
Hero Classes are shared with 2 specs.
SV and BM have Pet interactions directly baked into their core kit.
That simply would not be viable.
The funny part too is that the no-pet players will just disagree with you to disagree, but if Blizzard really released a Ranger class, they would all immediately hop over to the class and probably absolutely love it.
They could easily move Dark Ranger over to Ranger and give Hunter a new hero tree.
Not by enough for me to ever give up my pet. If anything it only tells me when my pet needs to be revived. Oh and extra leech is op at helping me during harder bosses. I prefer to stay alive the whole fight. Over OMG TOP DPS…dead
I’m confused.
The notion that a Ranger class would be popular is supposed to be a reason why they shouldn’t make a Ranger spec…?
