Please don’t remove Hunter pets

My word you’re not understanding.

The pet is lower dps in comparison to one target.

Add in more targets and lone wolf damage scales while the pets damage stats the same.

This isn’t a hard concept.

Not worth explaining to you if you can’t figure out how a pet can only attack one target.

I like having a pet. I don’t like the are removing it.

If they need to fix issues with Lone Wolf, then by all means do so. But leave the pet alone.

I’ll never understand why some people are so insistent on taking away something from others because they personally don’t like it.

First I understand pet attack one target, very simple, STUPIDLY simple in fact. The issue is you are so hung up at the very base of the concept you can’t move past it.

Again who cares if the pet that does so little damage can be there? To further bring this back to the other poster, if the pet did more would it shock you that the pet would do more?

Like what if okay follow me. You didn’t have to command your pet, but by it existing you would get additional effects, and you in turn would be able to instantly command it to help you out?

Cause taking things away is what some people like to do for fun. Its fun for them not so much for us.

And I already explained why it’s one thing to ask for cosmetics and why it’s different when it’s about supporting game mechanics, but since you don’t want to listen, I see no reason to keep repeating myself.

Misery loves company, some have a fet for inflicting pain, take your pick. The fact this news came days after Winter Veil to ruin hunters holiday season is the double wammy. I have already heard people yelling about this change in my discord. Maybe you don’t f with someone who has used the same pet since Vanilla…

I’ll just quote myself here since you missed it.

Ok again.

Lone wolf scales in aoe situations because the hunter has the bonus damage and is attacking multiple targets.

The pet is limited to
One target which means it’s not going to scale and is going to do far less damage.

This is t hard to understand.

Mm isn’t designed to have pets. Stop acting like it’s supposed too.

I don’t have the same energy you have today Snozay.
Arguing about MM changes with people that don’t even play MM, or have no idea over the basic concepts, is taking it out of me.

Im at my in laws lol. The distraction is nice.

A singular node choice, a spec does not make.

I guess you need to hear it too!

Then what of the update is going to fix this?

Great so you don’t want the update with the eagle. Glad we both finally hit the point of agreement

Legion says hello.

Then having a node to make having a pet an option doesn’t change the fact the core design of the spec doesn’t involve pets.

MM doesn’t have a single attack involving a pet yet both pet specs do.

11.1 where they remove pets.

The eagle isn’t going to be like a traditional pet. It’s going to be just like sentinel owl.

You doing it again…spamming the same question about things you willfully refuse to understand…stop

It makes no sense to keep support for a deprecated feature. MM Pet was deprecated 10 years ago, it’s a leftover of past design, and only endured for so long because Blizzard wanted to keep a minority of players happy. The problem is that spec design went on the other direction, and at this point Blizzard realized that it makes no sense to keep a minor feature that clashes with and hinders the spec’s design.

Correct

There are apprently ways to do pets you seem to agree with

I DGAF. Why change it from how it is now? Want to use a pet, use it. Don’t want to? Dont. There is zero need for a blanket FU to people who want to use the pet and think BM sucks.

What question is that?
