Please don’t remove Hunter pets

Again, you won’t have an actual pet at all, the eagle is essentially going to just be part of the spell effects like Sentinel’s owl is now

If you love your pets so much there are two other specs there for you. It’s fine to have one spec for people that dislike playing with pets.

If you’ve been reading my posts and if the devs follow through with this, this will be something forced that MM Hunters will have to take the heat for rather than having the mass amount of customization that is already offered to Beast Mastery hunters.

Problem is, and often times, Beast Mastery hunters choose exotic pets over trivial ones. Eliminating pets from MM Hunters just detracts from QoL as MM Hunters use trivial pets.

Again, you are free to dismiss a pet easily if you want to play Lone Wolf.

I don’t want an Eagle. See OP.

It’s pretty easy when your best arguments involve two other games in a different genre.

I don’t know how to explain to you that outside of PvP MM hasn’t been using pets since legion.

The pet utility isnt being removed. It’s just coming from the “eagle”.

Either way it’s happening and to the majority of Mm hunters it’s a very good change.

If you were to pay attention and actually read for once.

PvP in WoW is bad.

This is a flat out lie as spoken by someone who has zero clue what they are talking about.

If you can’t see the problem with having to cast dismiss pet before you can do damage and losing lust uptime is a bad thing you’re opinion isn’t worth anything.

This still blows me away. Like Mage is supposed to be like Jaina Proudmoore and her signature ability is water elemental.

Then play BM or Survival

If you had been reading my posts you would know that we agree on BM being limited to exotic pets

IMO something like this would have been better as an option maybe from one of the hero talent trees. Still optional!

It’s entirely worse. Mages didn’t have a pet when the game first came out so there was plenty of players who were happy to see it removed. Hunters though have always had pets. It’s always been the defining trait of the class. Even blizz say so in the very post announcing their removal!

Why would I read a post that’s not addressed to me?

Also if you actually understood what I said I used PvP as the only reason a pet was used.

In PvE MM never used a pet outside of world content and using lust.

It’s a balancing nightmare.

End of the day this is a change most MM hunters want.

Oh so we’re playing ignorance now. Literally the 3rd post from the top bro.

Get the hell on my ignore list and quit your nonsense already.

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying is strange. Pet customization is part of the core hunter fantasy. Linking more abilities to a pre-defined beast feels wrong.

It hasn’t been for MM hunter since at least Legion

This is why the developers are looking at this as a change:

Developers’ notes: Moving into Undermine(d), we are looking to reimagine Marksmanship’s Sharpshooter fantasy and reconcile some large spec friction points such as Lone Wolf.

This is why I as a player don’t like it:

  • I want my pet. The one I tamed. And I do not want to play a different spec.

Probably best to discuss those things. And not if someone sucks or not because they use a pet as MM.

EDIT: I’ve played hunter since vanilla. I actually stopped playing MM back then because it HAD a pet. And a rather wimpy pet at that compared to BM.

My man. The only ignorant one here is you.

I’m at work so I only respond to replies that I’m tagged in and get a notification.

Yeah that’s your only play at this point after having your super weak points demolished.

Its just for this thread, Bread.

MM has been a pet free spec since legion. You really don’t know what you’re talking about.
