Please don’t remove Hunter pets

It does when classes are destroyed to accommodate it like surrender to madness.

I welcome our overloads removing pets from MM. Hopefully, that means you don’t have to take a pet out to hero/lust as MM.

no now beastmaster has to.

I miss when MM had pets that were useful.

With the lone wolf talent tree and how squishy hunter pets were made the last few xpacs though, Id rather have no pet then deal with a worthless one. Unless you’re BM, hunter pets are pretty worthless these days. So just not having to deal with their pathfinding as MM, seems best given the options.

All you ever do is insult everyone who doesn’t mythic raid anymore. That’s not an argument. It doesn’t make your points or opinions any more valid. You add nothing of value. Instead you just insult anyone who disagrees with you. Which is almost everyone on these forums. Like dude it’s just weirdo antisocial behavior.

And you’re wrong about waaay too much way too often to have the kind of cockiness you bring. Just saying.

Don’t get me wrong everyone is entitled to have an opinion. But when someone try’s to speak from authority and is parsing 35 overall in heoric on your main you don’t have any credibility.

Why are these hunters whining so much when they choose to play Lone Wolf, choose to not have a pet deployed.

We don’t care how you feel. You clearly care about how others play.

Last time I checked, I play how I want to play. Not how you want everyone to play like you.

I never asked for lone wolf.

Look… lets compromise. You can keep a pet for lore flavor but it doesn’t do any damage and all dmg to it is mirrored onto you.

You get to keep a pet and the rest of us get a class rework. Everyone wins.

Or they could just leave lone wolf and MM hunters the way they interacted with pets alone? Having to pull a pet out to lust was absolutely a problem that should’ve been fixed forever ago if they wanted to go the whole petless MM route.

MM having a dps advantage without a pet isn’t the problem. It’s removing a hunter specs ability to ever at all interact with their pets. At all. Ever. Nobody asked for that, its not needed, and judging by the reaction, most people don’t like it.

Just imagine being a Lone Wolf, and telling other people how they should play.

So play BM, the point is to improve the class, not make it worse because casual Timmy might play one eventually

Yeah, it’s not going to make it better. Ya’ll don’t learn anything. And it shows.

I never asked for Lone Wolf to be there. They put it there and now they are going petless. Players didn’t ask for these changes.

Maybe they shouldn’t change MM in a way to alienate players in hopes to draw in Timmy?

The change to Marksmanship is probably the best change in the patch that I’ve seen so far. Having multiple specs is a wonderful thing. You can still have your hunter pet fantasy in both melee and ranged. And now people can also have their sharpshooter fantasy without being tied to pet management. Everyone wins.

Here I am being reasonable and there is just no appeasing you.

You can’t meaningful rework MM in a range dps spec and keep the pet.

Then why does the rework have a pet and rely more on a pet than the current version?

Its an identical issue frost mages had with their pets. You cant have a full time controlled pet as a option and effectively design around it. It has to be the cornerstone of the spec

We are watching history repeat and it worked out for frost in an amazing way.

Nope I just call out people that say stupid things and pretend like they know what they are doing.

Don’t need too as usually my points are already valid.

I don’t insult anyone till they insult me actually.

And the only people that disagree with me are generally the people that are terrible at this game and have no game knowledge. Now other higher end players may not agree with me but we usually discuss things like adults.

Name something I’m wrong about.
