They are clearly blind and can’t find the dismiss hunter pet ability. Part of the core pet care rotation.

You have brainrot, MM hunters have been forced to use pets because of the amount of utility, stuns, defensives, etc that were packed into the pet itself.
If you’re doing any serious level of content as a MM you HAD to have your pet out. Lone wolf was bad, just stop talking bro.
Primal is actually right though. You’re a minority.

The only time you didn’t run pet was some PvE occasions with Lonewolf for strong st damage. But if you did any PvP as a MM, you had to have your pet for intim, masters call, roar, etc.

Very dumb change. Anyone defending hunters losing pets need to just leave the game and play something else. Stop ruining this game more by pulling more garbage out of the dumpster.

It’s a visual pet; MM hunters don’t have to put up with the crappy 2-decade old pet system anymore.
Play BM.
Survival became much more unique since it went melee, and it’s today one of the most fun specs to play.
What even was Survival’s fantasy before the revamp? Can you define its fantasy in a simple way?

I really don’t get where people defending this are coming from. Some hunters wanted a sniper type spec without reliance on a pet. I don’t like that but I understand not everyone wants what I want. Fine. In group content Blizz made pets a hindrance to MM hunters so it was beneficial for them to go solo.
But MM hunters could always tame pets, solo with pets, etc just like hunters are supposed to be able to do. The thing that was the real problem was having to summon a pet for bloodlust. That sucked and should’ve been changed ages ago. There a million ways this could’ve been accomplished which didn’t involve denying choice for all MM hunters and destroying the entire theme of what it is to be a hunter.

If MM is meant to be a solo, no pet, no animal ranged sniper…
what’s the point of even having the Eagle pseudo-pet in the first place?
why half-measures? Just remove the pets completely and give MM a castable bloodlust buff that does not involve an animal of any kind…?
