Title? Probably not.
The questline with some type of AQ reward attached to it at the end? That might be nice.
It should come as little surprise at this point I am not a big fan of exclusive rewards. I am fine with timed exclusivity, for something like an event.
But I’d prefer if they made content permanent and their rewards stick around forever, as it gives players in the game more things to do forever.
They can also be brought back here as well.
But I mean hey I get to do it 36 more times regardless.
No, promised time exclusives will remain time exclusive.
Not like they have value or prestige anyway, that’s what you guys keep telling me. Completely non-valuable. A lot of begging for things with no value, but no value nonetheless I am assured.
There’s no actual value to them aside from what you make of them.
I value 'em highly - at least the ones that I actually wanted - but that doesn’t mean I don’t want others to try for 'em.
Good, then they don’t have to comeback.
They should bring back everything removed and make them difficult and challenging to obtain. Then you don’t lose your precious prestige.

I find it incredibly ironic that the ones begging for limited time rewards to be brought back are NOT considered the entitled ones, but instead those who want them to stay are entitled?
Many players did the challenges knowing it would be a cool prestige item going into the future. I did the same with CMs in mists and wod, and I guarantee I would have never done them if the rewards were going to come back. I had to improve as a player to get them, and when I see them on other people I recognize the effort required.
Everyone is really targeting the wrong enemy here - why is Blizzard too lazy to implement a new challenge mode / mage tower every expansion, with brand new armor sets and weapons? This way everyone can get cool exclusive rewards that show their proficiency at the game during some time period.
All the “FOMO” posters need to grow up. Imagine something valuable actually requires effort, and thinking that is toxic. You would all be complaining the same tune if this was current.
That would definitely clean up the forums a bit.

I still have yet to see an argument as to how bringing them back would devalue the efforts of those who earned them back then.
Almost as if there isn’t an argument to begin with on that front.
I got everything I want from MT and I don’t mind if they bring back the original weapon appearances, as long as the challenges are as difficult as they have been. I’m not into time gated content, but they should still be challenging to obtain.
If we still want to differentiate from the classic Legion appearances and any new ones, then given them different color schemes (like the new Guardian Werebear).
That won’t make anyone happy. The “bring it back!” crowd will just scream about how they wanted the originals. Great. No.
Limited time means limited time. Point blank.
The twitch drops aren’t timed exclusives. You could literally get all those items still.
People can enjoy trophies and the nature of time sensitive items and the sense of accomplishment that comes with them. It doesn’t make them arrogant, or anything else.
And trying to judge their personal life over a completely normal enjoyment of something so simple as a trophy says a lot about you more than it does them.
That’s the point of many people’s argument for bringing back time-limited cosmetics. Most of them were essentially participation rewards for playing at a specific point in the game’s history. Maybe some did require a lot of skill/effort/whatever initially but by the end of the patch or expansion those elements were largely gone.
Simple example is the KSM mounts in SL. Getting those in the first 2-3 weeks of a patch is kind of impressive – getting it 4 months into the patch isn’t. At that point the dungeons are overgeared and a lot of carries for it have been sold.
We get it. You’re selfish to the point you’d rather be the only one left in the game if it meant you could have exclusive items.
