Please Do NOT Bring the Mage Tower Weapons Back!

Yes there would be harm. Efforts do not need diminished like that at all. No thanks.

If bringing them back diminished efforts, than they need to remove mythic raid difficulty after every tier. It would diminish the efforts of those who cleared those bosses to have me come through 2 expansions later and 1 shot each boss for the same armor sets.

Explain how bringing them back diminishes the effort. c:
You’d still have to learn mt to get them.

… Right you are Pepper.
Let’s see if average joes can keep up with the other side.

I don’t disagree with removing those rewards at all! But especially when something is listed as LIMITED TIME - no, don’t bring it back ever!

Same thing with the Brutosaur. I’m glad Blizzard silently removed it from the game entirely. It was a limited time item and didn’t need to stay in the game.

You have some serious mental gymnastics skill.

Limited time means limited time. End of story. When Blizzard makes something limited-time, it needs to stay that way!

They never promised time limited exclusivity on Mythic raids. They do remove Cutting Edge and Ahead of the Curve achievements and those are not coming back either.

Guess what : Mage Tower is there. It has new rewards, which means more people are incentivized to run it again.

New rewards >>>>>>> old rewards that were promised to be time exclusive.

got those to and wouldnt mind if people had another chance to get them. i love seeing people on them more than i do seeing people with the armors

Yeah that’s nice, so no harm in bringing back the weapons anyways if they brought back mt anyway.

Simple is, simple as. I dunno why yall are so opposed to having to share your shinies.

Hell, it’s actually more challenging now, because you can’t overgear it.

Exactly. This argument to maintain the FOMO on stuff is entirely baseless. It really just feels like a bunch of people going “Please don’t take away the only thing that makes me interesting to other people.”.

Again for the peeps late to the discussion, there is no such thing as FOMO stuff.

The Fear of Missing Out is yours. There’s time limited exclusives. If you’re afraid of missing out of them, that’s something you should work on.

Tell me you don’t don’t understand what FOMO is without telling me you don’t understand what FOMO is.

I’m aware they aren’t coming back. I’m just saying I think they should and because I know they aren’t they should make sure content and the associated rewards going forward are permanent so everyone, old and new, can enjoy them.

And if the only argument against having more permanent content and rewards in the game is epeen swinging then…I’m sorry that’s honestly not a really convincing argument.

These alts and their bait threads are beyond ridiculous and out of hand

Fear of Missing Out.

Fear is not designed, it’s felt. Fear is personal.

The design is simply time exclusive rewards.

Meaning no one will ever believe them again when they say “this is time exclusive” and thus the retention mechanism loses all its value.

Blizzard would never throw away such an effective marketing tactic.

Let me guess, you think Scarab lord should come back too right?

It kinda did.
In classic.

Then so will your mage tower skins.
In classic.
