I’m not sure what path you are taking, Guuah. I assume in-game and not through the website so let me use some visual aids and hopefully what you see lines up.

  1. Click on Support.

  2. Open up In-game Issues and click Report a Player.

  3. Click Harassment in addon text

  4. You should get a page with the Contact Us option. Click that.

  5. Fill out the info (i.e. Reporting inappropriate language in TRP addon profile for (name-realm) .

  6. Click submit and you should get a “Thank you!” page that lists the description and a ticket ID.

As Ekon mentioned, you may have gone through the Knowledge base and weren’t going through the Get Help option. Easy to get confused there. :slight_smile:

I just tested it myself. Clicking the ‘Harassment in addon text’ option presents the following:

If you’re trying to report a player for a Code of Conduct violation, right-click their name in chat and report them.

If you’re trying to report a player for inappropriate text in an addon which doesn’t allow right-click reporting, contact us.

Clicking the ‘Contact Us’ button presents you with the ‘Harassment in addon text’ ticket with a text box for adding a description.

Edit - Exactly as Vrak described while I was typing with two fingers.

There was no ‘contact us’ button. There was nothing but unhelpful articles and like I said I’m kinda over the song and dance.

I’m not stressing myself out just because someone’s trying to get their entertainment. Please close this, I really don’t care anymore.

But! There was actually some discussion about this some time back. Folks were comparing notes (myself included) and were coming up with receiving the same templated response. It’s a bit dated, but there was definitely some confusion with what was being told to players versus what the templates were reading.

The thread isn’t a huge one, but Orlyia was in the same kind of confusion back then that Vrak is exhibiting here.


So yah. I do apologize for disregarding your wishes for the closed thread, but I did want to cross reference that older thread with this one.

The template reply that comes back says to report any further issues with a right-click report, which doesn’t work, so I usually just ignore that and assume that they’ll handle it from there, hopefully. I’ve seen people come here who end up getting account actions for “Disruptive Gameplay”, which is the category used for disallowed RP profiles so it does work but I try to be very specific when I do report since the ticket doesn’t pick up anything from in the game:

  • Character name (with special characters if necessary)
  • Which server the character was from (usually I’ll just pick this up from an addon that can pick up a full OOC name/server with a right-click and copy/paste it in)
  • Screenshots of how their profile looks when you use the addon, showing that it’s that character whose profile that I’m looking at. Sometimes I need to do multiple screenshots for content in different pages and hover-over fields.

It’s an entire ordeal, but unfortunately it’s just kind of how it is.
