I’m sorry but you have no evidence for your claims while I do since I was around at the start of vanilla to witness the amount of pvp that was being done without twinks. Also, there was a fair amount of pvp being done when ND first launched as well which again, was without twinks.
Mind you most people prioritized rushing to 60 instead of enjoying the journey, like 90% of mmorpg players do these days.
Your statement is irrelevant and I can tell your opinion will not change. All you’re doing is ignoring facts and trying to put forth baseless information that is based upon hypotheticals.
you did not prove a thing, so good riddance. i played in vanilla and on ND too
what happened 14 years ago is no longer relevant, this is 2019. of course my opinion wont change, just like yours wont either. not sure why you expect me too, just because you said a few things
The fact that twinking was never intended and Blizzard went on record stating it is still a fact. Twinking ruining pvp in lower brackets for players that don’t twink is a fact. I HIGHLY doubt you played vanilla in 2004 judging from the fact that you lack the comprehension to see the validity of my statements
You are complaining that it’s not fair going vs twinks as a none twink. When in reality that is the nature of lower lvl bg’s. A level 11 can’t kill a level 19 a warrior will 90% of the time die to a 19 hunter. The nature of pvp at lower levels is not balanced. So why are you so concerned about twinks?
Spoiler alert, that’s because everyone was leveling at the server’s start. After a few months, most people have outleveled the early pvp brackets, and the server doesn’t get a influx of new players high enough to sustain the low lvl pvp scene (or even the horde side pve scene lul).
How can you be so close yet so far from the truth? Keep clutching your “muh 2004 bgs release population” that has nothing to do with how the BG pop is in pservers and will be in Classic.
And until pvp twinking became an issue there were still multiple instances of pvp being done in lower brackets in vanilla. Not a single person here can do anything other than state “Lawl this feature wasn’t in vanilla so it won’t be in classic, so I’m just gonna continue to abuse an oversight in the development of the game instead of changing something that would benefit everyone, including the people twinking”
I will no longer dignify your posts with a response because you cannot see the benefits this provides to everyone.
Surprises me how volatile level 60 play actually is and that’s perfectly OK, but once you’re not at level cap volatile game play is now suddenly something we should ban.
The lack of contiguous fact patterns from some people really surprises me, but in reality the frequency is so high that it shouldn’t any more.
Nah man, twinks are cheating because no 19 should go into a game and think yea these enemy 19’s they have legitimate access to crusader enchants and helm enchants. They totally farmed that on that character right.
Brackets should have restrict items/enchants from their actual bracket. If you can’t get it on your 19/29/39/49 groups (and no, partying with a 60 isn’t the same thing). Naturally librams and crusader etc all should of had a minimum level req to prevent this but this was this first time around. They didn’t even think of the concept of a twink.
Translation: “Someone has a different opinion/idea on how to do something, how dare they have an opinion supported with facts different than my own? You don’t deserve the right to post your ideas in a public place!”
Spot the radical mentality being portrayed
Exactly. People assume that the game should just be left the way it is because they simply just want to argue for the sake of argument and cannot see the benefits in the long term.
Now you’re just being willfully ignorant and trolling. It can’t possibly be because people are outleveling the brackets, it *must be because people started twinking!!!11
[citation needed]
Fun fact: people actually do farm hundreds of gold on level 19s. You can get 30-40g/h fishing the right things.
And how would you do that without leveling out of 19, since exp off is not part of classic. That leaves you to mobs that are about level 12 or lower. GL with that, and you know in principle crusader and librams were never designed for characters below 60.
Agreed to Rektium’s post. Low lvl PVP is broken beyond repair in any case. Warriors are still going to be completely useless while priests/hunters dominate the scene in the 19 bracket. Even with all the stupid limitations OP wants to implement, it still wouldn’t change the fact that a lvl 19 with full blue gear would 1v5 level 10-15s in white gear.
The gaming term “twink” not the other one… came from older MMORPG’s like EQ.
There is a reason why gear is BoP.
Blizzard knew people would build powerful low level characters, it’s a natural component of these kinds of games and has been since Early multi player RPG’s.
