I get it. It will be hard to not play TBC again, but the pain at the end when they kill it makes it not worth the time invested. We have a long time to pressure them for a commitment. Just keep it up.

Bump! This is the most important thing to clear up about these servers; I know that I, and many others in my position, want nothing to do with the progression to TBC if the rug is going to be pulled out from under us again. We’ve been asking for TBC Era for ages, and there’s no point in us committing time or effort to a progression cycle if we’re not going to get our permanent, forever-home servers out of it.

Please clear the air about your intentions Blizz, for the sake of those of us dedicated to TBC! <3

Want nothing to do with Cata and onwards. WotLK is my personal favorite but I can be happy with TBC as well so if we were to get a TBC era server and it advanced no further, I will cope somehow. There might be a noticeable decline in the gnome population but sacrifices are sometimes necessary.

I concur with everything in this thread.

I am sick and tired of not being able to play in one of the first 3 eras. I never intended on being catapulted (unintentional pun) into Cata!

Totally took the wind out of my sails. Lost total interest in WoW.

I want a TBC and WOTLK Era. Period. Just like everyone else here.

I, too, will not make a character on the new server until I see confirmation that the devs intend to make these new servers Era-Mode.
