I can’t level another character through vanilla, just to play TBC, to be forced to Wrath again. If the TBC servers are not permanent, please let us know so we don’t waste our time.

I think this is likely progressional, meaning it will get to WOTLK after tbc. But hopefully we will get clarifications later.
if you can’t enjoy the journey, maybe WoW anniversary classic special edition is not for you

I hate that blizzard didn’t give the option to stay in TBC like they did to stay in vanilla when TBC was released. I thought they would do the same thing so I didn’t bother cloning my characters to vanilla as I prefer to stay in TBC. But then I lost all my progress due to being forced to wotlk, an expansion I hate.

That’s honestly what I’m trying to figure out. I have characters on Era that I’ve put a lot of time into. If the Anniversary servers progress past TBC, there really isn’t any point in my joining the journey again.
I’m one of those weirdos that wants to stay in The Outlands forever.
