Please Bring Back Adult Maturity

It really does, what would really switch it to “M” has nothing to do with language really in game, but more to do with blood and gore, and “AO” then deals with prolonged violence, sexual content and real gambling in game.

Oh I have a feeling… dunno though.

Be good for OP to explain it.

I have a feeling too, but I would like to see the OP do it first as well.

Still a bit funny the folks complaining about the writing

Man one of my favorite games / writing has a voice in your head beautifully describing the area around you. Just to end with a DMX reference. I wish I could experience that silly sucker punch for the first time again.

I assume you’re referring to BG3. Yeah, its one of my favorite games too. Guess what, it doesn’t beat you over the head with the character’s feelings every cutscene. It sets up and earns its emotional payoffs. TWW, does not for the most part.

Isn’t it obvious?

It’s in the post.

Original post already addresses this. Let’s take off the soft gloves.

Nope. Never played BG3.

And I’ve been enjoying the emotional payoffs with TWW. But I’m also a total armchair psychologist so I just like chewing on Anduin’s brain like it’s a bunch of ice cubes. That good crunch.

My lawyer advised me not to due to it being unsafe for us, and my account. :stuck_out_tongue:

Not to mention - Dark Dialogue can refer to the thought-provoking and often philosophical quotes from the Netflix series “Dark,” which explores themes of time, fate, and human nature.

So I am really interested in what you mean exactly, no assumptions, no inferring.

Where?

Please explain.

No.

You’d be surprised what you can get away with in a T-rated game, censors are notoriously slow to pick up on anything not outright explicit… unfortunately, it’s only really useful when you have a keen audience who’s able to “fill in the blanks” between what can and can’t be shown, which WoW generally does not have. I tend to refer to the Xeno series to show how far a T-rated game can go, but I’m sure I can find other examples (if I wanted to).

Really, any sufficiently creative mind can find ways around these types of rules with relative ease. Sometimes you just have to find the right metaphors, descriptive imagery, and language to state your intent indirectly… and sometimes, it’s just fun to watch how long it takes for others to catch up.

Language can do it, but you have to be using the blacklisted no-no words… but even then, you can usually get away with one or two of them per game.

This occasionally leads to in-universe swear words, which are able to convey the exact same response but without triggering the censors.

You know the answer.

If you interpret those scenes as fetish scenes that’s on you.

Even if I did, I’d rather hear it out loud. Can’t trust anyone this unsure of their own stance, after all.

There are plenty of websites for that.

What is “dark dialogue?”

Still exists.

I just believe all the memes.

We’ve never had a close-up foot cinematic in all of WoW until now lol.

Is the answer potato?

I mean… I guess good on you for admitting that. Not sure I’d continue doing that if I knew it about myself, though.

Sir this is 2025 and I can’t even see the color of sheep.

It’s literally just standard cinematography language for a sadistic power dynamic.

This shot puts one character “at the feet” of another, without actually having them grovel.

Idk… something is… a foot.
