Great stuff. I can listen to this while I play Era every once in a while, dreaming of Silvermoon and pretending that I am questing in Ghostlands. :slight_smile:

We don’t have anything, those of us that enjoy TBC got screwed over. If we were playing retail, our characters got shooped from TBC to stupid WotLK. Which I hate, cause it’s boring, and lame, and about Arthas. Who is the worst character ever, that edgelords wank to at night. I hate him, and everything about him. Rot in Torghast, Arthas, along with all your fanboys. They can go wank to your little spark there.

Test out a TBC server. Let it ride for about 9 months and see what happens. If people are on it, then make a WotLK server too.

I had expected all three from the holy trinity when they announced classic in2018-19. I was away from blizz for too long and forgot to expect this **** show.

My sub runs out in a couple weeks, and I plan to resub at a later point in Classic Prog if an expansion comes out I’m interested in, but I’d resub sooner for TBC or a Prog server. I had a lot of fun in TBC.

This. For the love of Grob, you have an entire playerbase that loved and does love BC. Not Vanilla, not LK. BC. And apparently ONLY BC.

I just randomly came to this forum because me and a bunch of friends have played through vanilla, BC, wrath, back to vanilla Era, and now SoD and we’ve come to the conclusion we want fresh Burning crusade permanent Era servers. Of course we wouldn’t mind a fresh Wrath eventually as well as we are extremely sad to see the wrath servers going to cata too, but we are really itching to play a fresh BC server that is permanent and has gold managed/bots managed with gdkp’s shut down and one that won’t go anywhere. We miss BC and would want the old versions of the game to be there if we were wanting to go back. An entire player base wants a fresh Era Burning Crusade server that won’t go away. We are all praying and hoping this to come to life one day as we loved The Burning Crusade. Thank you for possibly reading in advance Blizz. Much love I know you guys are hard at work and with all of the content that has come out recently especially with SoD you’ve done and are doing a great job. Also with all of this being said me and everyone who would want Era servers of BC and Wrath would hope the wow token and no microtransactions wouldn’t be on those servers and wouldn’t ever be added. We want the real true experience.

Well said Moonvale. I can’t imagine these servers would break the bank for Blizzard. The code is already written, for the most part. They just need to hit the on-button. With the costs being minimal, the servers would pay for themselves and probably even run a profit. Even if the worst happened, and they broke even, Blizzard would still have a group of players in their ecosystem, as opposed to a competitor’s.

I agree, I don’t think it would hurt anything at all and would actually make them alot of money. I’m still amazed we never got BC Era. Me and many others are missing it deeply and would love to spend our time there.

I miss TBC ret so bad. Seal twisting was the most fun rotation ever to exist in WoW and it’s a damn shame there’s no official way to experience it anymore.

I feel like they’ve already done this. We have era servers, we have WotLK servers, but we don’t have TBC servers anymore. I wonder why that is. :thinking:

Another thing I have heard/thought of was how alot of the hardcore community wants a hardcore BC and maybe even wrath server. I hear all the time and everywhere that people would love to do hardcore on a BC server. I think the fact that Blizzard is still releasing hardcore content and is relevant, that might be our only chance/hope of getting a BC Era server. If they do a hardcore BC server as many want and there’s an entire other player base playing for just the hardcore experience, once those characters die they will have to go somewhere and there will have to be an Era server for them to resurrect their characters and transfer too. This is our only hope I believe. Blizz every day me and many others are hoping for a BC Era server.

This will only work if they actually fix the game, remove or massively increase lotus, make attune quests optional, and ban Loot Councils.

I actually love the grind for rep. and if we had an Era it would be there forever so it wouldn’t be too bad to do the grind. The lotus should be rare so I think it’s important for lotus to be far and few between and it sounds like you had a bad experience with loot council but that doesn’t really have too much to do with BC maybe just a bad experience with a guild. BC Era would be nothing short of awesome the way it was from back in 2007.
