This post is people not understanding multiboxing complaining about it.
NOā¦its NOT.
This is BLIZZARDS game. NOT yours, believe it or notā¦THEY allow boxing.
And that really is the end of this whining debate.
Never claimed to, I donāt generally use gathering professions since I find them boring to level. āStay in your lane.ā only works when everyone else is staying in theirs.
THIS, THIS, THIS!
If you have a program that plays the game while you walk off and get a sandwich, THAT IS AUTOMATION!
If you have to sit and press buttons the whole timeā¦ IT IS NOT.
- bad boxer stole muh node (it aint yours)
- bad boxer wont let me gouge (farm something els)
- bad boxer ganked me (turn warmode off)
You can call it whatever word you want.
The point is that whether itās by cloning keys or automation Multiboxing has the same negative effects on the game as Botting.
Theyāve at best given wishy washy statements about not supporting the software. Theyāve given to my knowledge nothing concrete one way or the other, which is why this pops up so often.
not automationā¦sorryā¦but your 62 post alt has been told this many times already.
Those are two different things.
You are SO closeā¦ come on, take the next step!
Same effect
Debating things Blizzard has already addressed years ago is not staying in your own lane.
Iām dead tired of Karens trying to take the way I play from me and Iām sick of them telling me to off myself for enjoying the game in a way they donāt approve of.
Seriously.
Just stay in your own lane and stop caring about how I play. Rest assured I donāt care about how you play.
Did BFA bring a new generation of noobs? Multiboxing has been in the game since day 1 how do yāall not know how tf it works after this many years
The tools are in grey area.
Bliz has been VERY clear on what is autmation and what isnt. These jokers just want to tell bliz how they demand things be because they apparently cant figure out how to compete for resources like the rest of us.
Is it sending an identical signal to all client windows or switching between them to send commands? Not automation.
Is it playing the game for you, or rather, for one of your client windows? Automation.

Their argument is ābut they took mah node!ā
We know everything in the game is fair game, but they havenāt come that far yet.

seems VERY clear to meā¦

Threads like this make me fifty shades of reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Iām so tired of the same half-witted arguments day in and day out.
It does not matter if itās defined as automation or not. It allows instant reactions across multiple instances of the game and that allows for a P2W advantage in the economy.
Get hung up on āmuh cloning isnāt automationā all you like. The effect it has on the game is identical.
It is replicating a single keystroke across multiple instances of a game and allowing players to do things at faster than human reaction times across multiple characters.
It smells like automation, it acts like automation, it has literally the same effect on the game as botting and instead of admitting it yāall like to dig in deep w/ the slimmest of technicalities.
covered by a blue years agoā¦

Blizzards official statement updated just two weeks ago

looks like youre out of luck
as I understand it, keystroke repeating is already against the rules.
āUnsupportedā, but not outright bannable.
It should be bannable, though.
