This has always fallen within a grey area with BlizZard. Even Swifty has discussed this with his viewers.
Bolded a key point.
I guess Im supposed to buy that this gent actually MEANT it as a rugby term and not the four letter word they have used 1000 times in here that just happens to be the same word minus on letter.
I dont.
Heās basically doing the same thing as those who swap letters to get around the word censor.
I know it. You know it. He knows it. We ALL know it.
His clear tone here is using the word in a derogatory, insulting manner.
I read what āscrumā isā¦its a tacticā¦not an insult.
Okay, if you believe thatās a good use of your time and energy, go for it. Good luck finding something that hasnāt already been brought up and dismissed repeatedly over the last 15+ years.
So point out to me where in recent times Blizzard have expressly authorised any software from being used, specifically ISBoxer. You canāt, and you know why? They donāt do that. Blizzard donāt have a list of software they authorise being used, not at least one they will ever list publicly.
Im sure you THINK this is a good way to make moderation believe youre not saying what we ALL know youre saying.
probably should stop acting juvenile and just make your topic relevant points.
Not really good with getting points figured out, are we ?
yeah?
Not even a good try.
That is talking about AUTOMATED playā¦which bliz clearly DOESNT define merely boxing AS āautomatedā.
that allows the automated control of a Game, or any other feature of the Platform, e.g. the automated control of a character in a Game;
apples and oranges.
Is it sending an identical signal to all client windows or switching between them to send commands? Not automation.
Is it playing the game for you, or rather, for one of your client windows? Automation.
Multiboxing, or playing multiple World of Warcraft accounts at once, is not a violation of our Terms of Use.
That first one is from 2008.
You were told THEN that its not automation.
Guess it takes a couple decades for it to sink in with some sorts.
Lol you made this thread cause I called you a Karen when you lied and told me that blizz changed their tos and you were going to report me. And I just lol at you and told you go ahead and report and waste your time.
Why would I try and convince Acti / Blizz to ban Multi-boxxing when I support multi-boxxing and also multi-box?
That would be a bit odd, donāt you think?
You Keep Using That Word, I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means
You donāt like rugby?
You donāt even know what rugby isā¦
but you are a liar. Youve been shown 1000 times that boxing ISNT cheating yet your lies that it is persist. What does it say about a person who knowingly and willingly lies to push their personal agenda?
i just want you boxxers to have your own servers
Good question.
So theyre saying that bliz devs are too stupid to know what the rules areā¦or too stupid to enforce themā¦or maybe even intentionally enabling cheating themselves by ignoring boxers.
I doubt any of those are true.
Ben is a pretty smart guy. The wife loves watching his videos. pretty funny watching him shred the emotionalism with cold hard logic.
Not going to happen.
99.999% of the playerbase who DOESNT box ISNT screaming about it, but are out there playing along side the boxers.
Bliz aint going to partition off boxers over the flailing and tantrums of 0.0001% of the base whining about it.
I doubt thats even enough incentive for them to even set aside a single non boxing server for you all, honestly.
I just donāt think there is a big enough multi-boxxing community for Acti / Blizz to even humor the idea.
It really does remind me of the threads when you see people run to the forums when they get ganked in PVP or some other thing of that nature.
Someone runs to the forum and all of a sudden by reading the thread you would think itās happening all the time and the āissueā is an earth shattering 500 cases happening at least every 10 minutes.
Considering they are connecting less populated servers, adding a new server type for a small niche group would not be feasible, a waste of time and resources.
Another problem with this is one of the things that keeps Blizz from merging servers, player names. Some people are quite attached to their names and trying to yeet them to a multiboxer server where the name is taken isnāt going to end well. Multiboxer shards would work better is player in group?are all characters in group on same account?yeet to multiboxer shard but the problem with that is families who have accounts under the same BNet.
Thatās part of the issue, Blizz has even stated that the systems in place cannot differentiate between a multiboxer or a family(for example) playing from the same IP. It just sees that there are 5 or so accounts coming from that address.
