Except they aren’t.
You can set it up (not sure about this specific program, but some of them) to just keep repeating after you press. I’ve watched a gold farmer live streaming and he was talking and interacting with chat while 5 groups of 5 alts were in the background spam turn/tab/casting and killing mobs and he would just check on them once every few minutes to loot and restart the process.

I never said that. I gave a single example that I personally witnessed so I know a system exists that allows it.

Basically, some believe key cloning or key broadcasting to multiple game clients == botting. Some, including Blizzard, do not. Pretty simple. If they did, they’d this thread would not exist.

Need to be specific. If it is repeating the keystrokes to more than one wow client. There are a lot of people with RSI’s that rely on software that help them to repeatedly press a key since they have legitimate issues.
Yep, assistive devices/software would be banned if key broadcasters were banned. So would the multitude of keypad/multifunction mice software too.
