you know when youre playing the game or not…and as youve already pointed out…youre pretty sure whats been ‘banned’ over time.

If that were the case boxers would be being banned in droves every week for ToU violations.

Their official boxing statement was just updated in the last two weeks.
I think that tells us their updated view on boxing.

Except that breaking it is not the same as banning it. Breaking it makes it unusable. Banning it doesn’t make it unusable, just gives a punishment for using it.

breaking is probably the best way anyway. banning doesnt stop people from doing something. Speed limit signs every 48 feet around here and the jokers speed right past them, lol.
The ONLY way to stop speeders is to make it so the car is somehow physically prevented from speeding. People themeselves cant be trusted to obey the rules.
Actually you “could” still use it, but it was kinda redundant when Blizzard broke the auto-invite feature it used. I still think it exists in some form or fashion on Curse. It was made even more irrelevant when the folded some of the grouping features in the the standard UI

I wish you would have educated yourself a little more on this topic before you decided to spread a lot of misinformation. I wont go into great detail but I will point out something that really stuck out that is 100% false.
I don’t see how this is not automating gameplay. It allows the multi boxer to move characters or have them all preform different actions based on how they have it setup.
Please read up on what automation really is and you will have a better perspective on the point your’e trying to get across. I see anchor weed farms all day in group finder and they are usually formed in groups of 10 +. They also achieve farming a rare herb 10x faster than any multiboxer could yet I don’t see you posting anything about that. Please stick to the facts and not feelings when posting negative articles.

So on one hand they like multi-boxers for obvious reasons, on the other, they don’t support it. That last bit leaves a lot of grey area. Do they not support it at all as in we ban if we find out? Or do they not support it simply by offering no help.
I feel the multiboxing issue should be summed up by more than two short sentences.
There is a Blue post stating they won’t help if something goes south on your computer because of the tools, or if they change something in game, breaking multiboxing tool in the process (for example the /follow in BGs). It’s on the old forums, gotta search the Wayback machine to see if I can find it. It’s the same policy they use when people come to the support site for Discord or addon issues. They just tell them to contact the devs of those programs/addons.
it’s basically them saying “It’s not our problem”.
That’s what I would assume too… but it would go a long way to clarify their entire stance on the official page. Nobody should have to assume anything on a hot button issue like this.
me either, honestly. Bliz has irritated me enough that they get my $15 a month for one account and not a dime more ever again outside of buying the current expansion.

of course they dont. they didnt make them, they dont have enough manpower to take care of their own crap half the time…why would they support OR endorse some third party software and put themselves at risk for a class action law suit in case the worse happens?

Oddly I tried boxing and with very little information managed to do it and not get banned. Somehow it wasnt that hard to figure out what not to do.
My first wife liked to talk. She kept talking well past the point where she should have shut up and not gotten herself into the messes she did.
Sometimes few words is better.
Blizzard starts layout out specifics and I can see how some with no integrity might use that to figure out what theyre up to as far as stopping bots.
What we know is bliz allows boxing…wants players playing and botting isnt allowed. Play the game or dont play…ONE key press = ONE action per character.
I did it and didnt get myself banned. Im sure everyone here is as smart as I am.
They broke because of HOW it operated, not because of its existence.
If the owner rewrote the code to operate a different way, Blizz probably wouldn’t have cared after that.

Well it was better when you had your realm maybe occasionally you run into bots farming the bejesus out of one spot but now you compete with all the servers in current content for one. And two I shouldn’t have to buy 5-10 accounts to get a decent amount of resources for a change.
It would be nice of them to give a little more detail, the old support article did.
In all honesty, I’d refer to my “smokescreen” comment. It’s either the same posters making these threads weekly or a 0 post character using cut and paste to troll. I find the motivation behind these threads quite suspect.
If you do a forum search on the topic, a lot of these threads are locked as people don’t want to discuss anything but call each other names and spread misinformation.

Every issue has a handful of pot-stirrers. I’ve seen the same issues in other forums, twenty people on one side, two extremely dedicated trollers on the other.
