That is not how it works. When you press 1 it replicates you pressing 1 in all the other instances. If I keep pressing 1 it will keep replicating 1. To replicate any other key I would have to press that specific key. Inform yourself so you don’t look like an idiot.

Good luck arguing what automation is with this playerbase. Most of the white knights try to say every add-on is automation, therefore everything should be allowed or no add-ons at all.
I can’t stand the multi-boxers either. Blizz has never been 100% clear on a lot of things involving it.
Which part are you confused on? I have a whole host of replies, emails, Mod posts, Blizz Q&A’s, and other resource material for this game.
I think he had an issue with the ability to replace keybinds in the process so that additional presses of the same button would work through a sequence of other keybinds.

Think it’s time to admit Wow is ruined with botters and multiboxers to the point one person can’t fairly skin without someone intruding and poaching your kills.You can’t even relax on your own realm to skin without someone starfiring everything in existence or have legit skinnable mobs that only drop greys on skin.
I think its time for you and your alts to admit youre not catching on how to play the game like the other 99.9999% of players who are playing and NOT in here tossing tantrums about boxing.

People do that anyways and they don’t bot or multibox. I cannot count the many times someone skinned my kills in front of me on my leatherworker, in my experience, it’s not a boxer, a bot maybe. But then again, I don’t farm near those people.

I’m not confused at all. I don’t think they’ve ever clearly defined what they consider automation.
Automation definition: the use of largely automatic equipment in a system of manufacturing or other production process
Is it purely the action of one button doing multiple things like a multibox addon? Or is it having an addon run an algorithm to decide how much, how many and if you even should post items for you?
If they’ve ever posted anything concrete regarding how they define automation, I haven’t seen it.

I have a macro keyboard and I might bump one of them when Im reaching for ESC on occasion. I aint been banned yet over it. So this guy was clearly USING his macro keys that can be set up to operate in a way that DOES violate the ToU…which is why I dont use mine at all…not worth the risk.

Is it sending an identical signal to all client windows or switching between them to send commands? Not automation.
Is it playing the game for you, or rather, for one of your client windows? Automation.

Well, first, you have to stretch out your imagination so that what you see in-game is reflected on ALL servers. Then, grossly exaggerate what you saw so that souns ten times worse than what it actually was.
Maybe throw out some degenerate slurs or slander other players to drive your point home. And if that doesn’t work, just call it cheating for no reason and drop the mic.

I’m certain botters would love that information, those cheeseheads would use anything to make their “product” harder to detect. Been seeing it with the old “Blizzard does nothing” posts and I have seen docs pushing the anti-boxer and “boxing is botting” by certain hacking groups to obfuscate their botting/exploiting activities. They list talking points which a few posters use here on the forums quite extensively.
I wonder if these threads are a smoke screen.

You aren’t wrong, but if you remember they banned the groupfinder addon in Legion because they said it trivialized questing through automation.
Please point me to anything they ever officially said on the subject, not trying to start a war, not taking any sides.
