blizzard…the ones that MATTER…
Is it sending an identical signal to all client windows or switching between them to send commands? Not automation.
Is it playing the game for you, or rather, for one of your client windows? Automation.

No,it’s not automation because a key must be pressed by a human. There’s a human required, and botting requires no human interaction whatsoever. This is very simple to comprehend, so these repeated threads are just spam, and will be reported.
So anyways, as far as not being able to compete with the multi-boxxers.
I’m slowing putting together a piece of furniture. Since I’m not logged in at the moment, do I as a multi-boxer still have the unfait advantage over a non multi-boxer?
actually its not…
Multiboxing, or playing multiple World of Warcraft accounts at once, is not a violation of our Terms of Use
WHEN you buy the company THEN you get to interpret the rules.
again…
this was dealt with 12 years ago…get with 2008…thanks

its cheetin cuz muh sayd so’z
I have replied once to this post and I have never once gotten into any sort of debate or argument about multiboxing. Not on the forums, not in the game, not in real life… not anywhere.
It’s absolutely your choice to not support multiboxing. It’s absolutely your choice to view it however you see fit. That’s the beauty of discussion forums, you’re allowed and entitled to say reasonably anything you so desire.
I’m sure I do enjoy multiboxing for the benefits that it brings. i don’t think any one in the world would pay for that many extra subscription fees, whether with gold or cash unless they were getting some form of benefit from doing so.
My benefit is the fun factor it brings to me. I’ve always enjoyed running dungeons. I enjoy it even more when I can level a group of five all by my lonesome if I so shall desire. Sure, it’s an MMORPG, I have friends I play with. However, I like the solo aspects of WoW and you know what? That’s okay. It’s okay to not be into Mythic raiding or Mythic dungeons, that’s not my cup of tea.
My cup of tea involves leveling, doing world bosses, world quests, old raids, pet battles, playing the auction house, that brings me much enjoyment.
I had the reality of life happening a year ago and I can no longer work because of it. That give me unlimited amounts of time to dabble into my favorite game and hobby.
I always wondered if I’d enjoy the aspect of multiboxing. I decided to give it a whirl and for over three months now, I can honestly say that I enjoy it to the maximum.
There’s nothing wrong with me doing something that I enjoy. I don’t hijack places and farm mobs for 20 hours a day. I don’t PVP at all whatsoever. I don’t troll people, I don’t talk on trade chat and talk garbage. I don’t insult anyone and just try to enjoy what life has to bring me.
I don’t need to get you to change your views or stance on multiboxing. It’s not my job to worry about you and what you want. I do what I enjoy to do with my free time and I do so with money I worked hard for over the years.
If Blizzard ever changes their stance on it and decides to no longer allow it, then I will fully support their decision. I won’t quit playing and throw a hissy fit. I won’t create fifty threads to whine about it.
The true reality is that Blizzard has allowed multiboxing since nearly WoW’s inception. The very third party program this thread refers to in ISBoxer has been out for a bit over a decade. This isn’t something that is new and that Blizzard has not heard about. This is probably one of the most popular third party apps that makes multiboxing easier.
I don’t do drama, I don’t have meaningless debates and I don’t post constantly in a thread to hear an echo chamber.
These are MY views on the subject and will never be influenced by you or anyone else.
If what I do upsets you, then that is something you will have to deal with in your own fashion. Send emails to Blizzard, keep posting about it, you have avenues to try and get them to get rid of it. it’ll most likely never happen, but the onus is on you and it is your right to do so just as it is my right to continue playing how I ENJOY, not how YOU think I should enjoy it.
Good night.
Thanks…you just PROVED that its NOT causing ‘massive disruption’ son…because IF it were theyd have acted on that clause by now.
Try again.
you could MAYBE make the argument that they nerfed some of the legion and MOP places, because it was bot infested. Quillboar farm was very much a multibox place, not that it’s particularly easy to identify a bot vs a multibox. There’s a ton of overlap between the two.
hardly.
you can spew up your meaningless drivel vomit for as long as you need to toss your tantrum in here but it doesnt change the FACT that YOU dont make the rules for the game…YOU dont interpret the rules…and YOU WILL accept them like we ALL have to, even when we dont like them.
End…Of…Debate
Thats the more entertaining garbage in here…listening to these jokers try to educate blizzard and their devs about their program, how it works and what ‘automation’ is, lmao.
I dont give blizzard an inch in here and Im called out for being hard on them all the time…but their rules are their rules…end of story…and they know how all of this works and DONT need some armchair software dev wannabe telling them how to deal with their own product.
Depends how many wow instances you have running. Playing with 5 and using the Hivemind works well, you than need 10 or more on ground mounts to be just as effective.
There is a keybind in game that let’s you interact with target. Implement that in a /target macro and you can have one character mount the Hivemind and 4 others target than interact with just 2 buttons and all of a sudden you have 5 characters all in the same mount.
Or just use druids since they have an instant travel form and use a macro to set follow on your main character. As long as you can setup your computer(s) to accept an input from one keyboard all at the same time than you have no issues.
The problem is that people use automated software to simulate the button you have just pressed, that is I press a mount button on character A and the software auto swaps to character B and press that mount button for me, than does it again for all your copies of the game you are running, that is against the EULA.
But if it was because of multi-boxxing and Acti / Blizz seems to crack down on the botting practices. Why are they not cracking down more on the multi-boxxing itself instead of an area that has resources?
That seems kind of silly in my opinion, but maybe Acti / Blizz is just a silly company.
You mean from the people who think it is a problem but can’t show that it is a problem.
lame trash garbage dumpster excuse, son.
The RULES are the same…boxing is ALLOWED. Doesnt matter if the guy who informed you jokers as to what those rules are moved on.
They used that same trash illogic argument on some other topic in here last year. LMAO.
They actually seem to believe the rules change if Employee X quits or got a better job…
Not youre call…sorry.
Blizzard is your daddy. THEY TELL YOU what youre going to deal with in THEIR game.
it really is that simple.
ive played classic, son…I’ll take multitap and boxing druids any stinking day of the week over that dumpster fire.
Except it doesnt do this, it is using windows desktops. Same as if you WINDOWS+TAB and then select a new desktop. Its all in-built into windows…
did you hear their last joke a while back?
They actually think blizzard is going to make nodes personal…like phasing out so you can farm them regardless.
They think the company that said NEVER AGAIN about MOP being easy mats…nodes every 3 feet…and then proving they meant what they said in the next three expansions…is going to suddenly relent and give them their own private nodes to farm
Blizzard will NEVER authorise any 3rd party program, same as they will never tell you which programs will cause you to earn a ban for using them, they only do this for addons (and contact addon creators to request changes) because they are loaded with the game and not used outside the game.
Yes, if YOU use ALT+TAB, or if you are manually choosing a new desktop or a second instance of the game being open, not a third party program.
