Interestingly enough, they’ve already nerfed several popular farm spots because of multiboxxers, so they clearly recognize that there is a problem.

Did they nerf the spots because of multi-boxxers or did they nerf the spots because of botting?

I would guess it was because of botting, because Acti / Blizz has a very strong stance against botting.

Signed. The key repeating software is what should be banned. Creative players could still set up multiple monitors and play several characters without the automation though.

Is it sending an identical signal to all client windows or switching between them to send commands? Not automation.
Is it playing the game for you, or rather, for one of your client windows? Automation.

As for people saying that they can’t compete with a multi-boxer for resources? Of course you can. Multi-boxxers have to sleep some times. I wish I was a bot and didn’t have to sleep, but we do. It happens, it’s a fact of life.

Bots on the other hand can farm and farm and farm all day and night until something breaks and it messes with the script.

Even multi-boxxing, I can’t compete with that.

Also there are druids that can gather while shape shifted! Where is all the rage of that “unfair” advantage. I can’t do that while mounted. Should I start complaining about that?

Also, just because software can do something against the rules doesn’t mean Blizzard is going to outright ban that software. Otherwise they’d have to ban Windows as well.

Exactly. When I looked at one app or addon myself I was told to steer clear of X because it violated the rules to use that feature.
These jokers arent stupid enough to think that bliz doesnt know what does and doesnt violate their own ToU.
