Please add RDF

It absolutely did. You might have closed your eyes or were too young to see it.

You’re right people absolutely were running more dungeons

Never said they did less dungeons, did I?
You see here is the issue you fail to understand. It is not about doing dungeons it is about how people interact in the dungeons. They stopped caring about others for personal goals, it was very bad towards Warlords of Draenor were levelling took to max level could be reached within a day.
I repeat. Because it seems you fail to understand anything. I. do. not. care. about. RDF. It has it purpose but you fail to understand what it does to the community and the game.

And you fail to understand that the issues you claim RDF caused were already present in dungeon groups in OG vanilla.

You think I never saw people treat the group like garbage in vanilla or TBC or wrath before RDF? It happened all the time. In some cases it even happened in worse ways like tanks/healers trying to hold the group hostage.

Yeah, instead of being given a chance of running the dungeon and maybe getting a premade group of tryhards and getting kick, you’re just not even allowed in the door currently. So much better!

Humans are terrible is your argument? Really?
Yes, people did terrible things before RDF. Never said anything different. You just saw them and never joined them again, or what you did back in the days, you wrote it in /2. And your hostage makes no sense because you can just leave the group lol

My point is still. And will not change (even if you are really hard trying) that RDF changed the game to be less social and more about “gogo max level”.

In RDF you just kick low gs people LOL

Has anyone even played the game after wrath here? It feels like no.

Can’t kick until 15 minutes have passed.

And you know what happens currently without RDF? You never get invited.

Okay, so now as a typical anti is gonna say “make your own group”

Got it, doing that captain. And do you know what happens? After summoning they see your GS and leave. Or if they don’t leave (because you were the only group that formed) they complain (I’d use a harsher word but forums block the word…) about you the whole time.

Yes, I played during Cata. I pugged Heroics in Cata, it wasn’t as toxic as it is currently.

No, my argument is the same humans you play with in RDF are the same ones you pug with on your server.

And most of them are very decent people and the dungeon runs are just fine regardless of RDF.

They’re single serving friends but we don’t treat each other like garbage, if you think it’s okay to treat someone you won’t see again badly that’s on you…

Not when your group/dungeon opens. You can just votekick people. I remember just kicking low dps people from my group (playing with friends).

You know what I am doing on my 4k GS alt? I message them. Crazy. I know, right. Most people just list on the finder and hope for the best. I never had any issue finding any group using that simple technique.

That’s an option but I don’t like it myself.

Never have I ever seen that. That’s has to be an exaggeration.
With my two mains that are 5k+ GS I literally don’t care what GS my group is. I even wipe sometimes and I don’t care.

I think thats an exaggeration again… But if thats your experience, then fine.

No? Literally different.

I never said they were not decent people and the dungeons dont go fine? Obviously you will have your good experience, as well as your bad experience. Thats again not my point and you are trying to change it how you want.

So you’re part of the problem. Gotcha.

You know what happens when you message them “Hey can I join? 4k GS.” You get nothing back. You get ignored. Because why would they take you? You just admitted to kicking low dps people, and nowadays people don’t even give you a chance to show your dps, all they care about is GS.

Nope, happened to me on Pagle when I played with my friend. We grinded out full Deadly/Furious only for people to never want us.

It really isn’t an exaggeration, everyone only cares about GS in these days, and without RDF you’re never given the chance to gear up. And no, nobody runs Naxx anymore.

You are claiming that RDF groups are inherently worse somehow.

That was never my experience and many people feel the same way.

RDF groups can be bad and so can pre formed groups.

I def were back then. I mean… its over 10 years ago.

Try this: “Hey I’m 4k GS but I will try my best doing all mechanics and going for a skip run”. Works almost every time. And if it doesnt, try again. Don’t be disappointed by the first decline.

Damn Pagle… I should have known Pagle is a toxic server

if that is your experience then I’m sorry for you. This might be your server, the way you apply to groups or simply an addon that is blacklisting you (which apparently exists?).

Anyways, always care about GS/ilvl, even in RDFs. They will just kick you instead or leave the group.

Nope, didn’t say that.
I said, and I repeat for the 100th times or so, RDF “anonymity” breads toxicity. Toxicity is not skill. For some reason you think being toxic means being worse.
Toxicity is the way they communicate with you. They either don’t think you exist or they say things you don’t want to read.

Friend and I are currently playing on our old TBC mains on Mankrik, hopefully it’ll be better, but without JJ levelling is quite a bit slower.

This is why i dont bother going through the cons of rdf anymore.

They either outrighr dismiss it or strawman it into something else and then attack their strawman.

Then they claim to have debunked it.

Hopefully! Sucks to have such an experience.

Yea I tried it for the first time and I already regret it. Anti-RDFs and Pro-RDFs literally cant survive in a room for 10s.

Right but on a healthy realm dungeon pugs are just as anonymous as RDF.

I already told you… No. It might be for you as you just forget people but many people don’t.
