Please add RDF

The sad part is they refuse to even acknowledge that rdf has downsides to it being in game. As an anti rdf i acknowledge it has benifits, i just dont think the benifits outway the downsides.

It’s more that many people have rose colored glasses about dungeons pre RDF and refuse to accept the reality of what pugging has always been.

I’ve pugged a lot of dungeons from vanilla OG through now with and without RDF and RDF really didn’t change the nature of the people in them. There were some trolls in both cases but the vast majority of people were just there to do the dungeon in both cases.

Just seems like were had two completely different experiences.

How so?

How ere you grouping pre RDF?

Reading chat, messaging people

You can do that with RDF in the game.

No sane person is going to do that.

Please don’t tell me you’re the kind of person that whispers random people and saying " can you heal X?"

Like, if I wanted to healer Gnomeregan I’d be at IF or in front of it, not questing off in Thousand Needles.

Not to mention I’d sign myself up for it in LFG if I wanted to.

Well yes, RDF is simply the better option for pugging.

Why is that hard to understand?

No sane person is going to do that when there is just a button you can press. Humans are lazy. That’s all.

No. Never did that.

I’ve seen that argument said by people against RDF. “You’re just lazy and not trying” “try whispering people and asking if they wanna run dungeons, communicate!”

And it’s like… bruh.

Sure but when the end experience of RDF vs chat/LFG tool pugging is the same why would any sane person not use RDF.

It has nothing to do with laziness, it’s simply the better option.

I’m not saying you are lazy when you are not whispering people. I’m just saying pressing a button is the lazy option when you have it.
Why would you walk to the grocery store when you can simply use your car?

But you haven’t explained why that is bad

I am not an Anti-RDF… I don’t think pressing a button is particuarlly bad… It is a good quality of life feature when the time is right…
You are trying to change the topic again… I think it shows again that you are just arguing for the sake of arguing. I already told you that I’m not against RDF and that I think has its benefits.

And I agree with you

I was debating your negatives of RDF.

I just don’t have one and that it removes the social part of the game which is part of what the Classic experience is. If you want more ask Anti-RDFs like Redheadchild.

You contradicted yourself…

No? At what part. Lets ignore all the times you just put words in my mouth or try to change the topic
