There are so many assets to part out and make us grind for. I hope it’s a hit and they keep expanding it.
I want to make a pirates grotto, with dripping ceiling panels and stuff.

On the subject of instanced vs non-instanced, I think the best outcome would be for Blizzard to force all of Wyrmrest to share a single house.
I think ESO monetizes so much since you dont need to pay a sub to play and most people buy the game on sale (10$) and expacs on sale.
With one chair.
We would last all of five minutes before it ended up like a bastardized cross-over fan-fiction of Gremlins and F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
dibs on the attic
WHO ATE ALL MY BBQ ELF EARS!?
We all agreed the second shelf was mine! They were clearly labelled “RAKHAM’S NO TOUCHIE!”
sorry i needed some extra flesh for my rituals. gotta feed the demons. you know.
Pretty sure Chonga put a bunch of WrA forum people into the SIMS a long time ago
A Vanna White imitating Tauren who wants to share one chair with a house full of Horde who don’t even know how to sit in a chair. A Gentarn. A Gnome living in the attic. A Forsaken with its own shelf for bbq elf ears. A Blood Elf demon hunter who stole the Forsaken’s bbq elf ears to feed demons.
I’m glad I have chosen the solitary life of a hermit.
Cheers.
There are RP hubs just like there are in WoW. Tavern in Evermore is a big one.
You can also LIST your homes for RP and leave em open to the public for visitors to come through.
A lot of RP on ESO though is found through Discord, which letsbereal, thats how 90% of wow goes now too.
That’s one more chair than the entire Horde requires.
Player housing has never appealed to me but I’m happy for those that have wanted it for so long. That being said, I worry that its implementation is going to leave a lot of people disappointed. I really hope that I’m wrong.
I remember that! Was that who did it? Someone died pretty quickly iirc.
In this sitcom, are you envisioning more of a heartwarming family dynamic with wholesome japes or more of a boisterous, transgressive buddy comedy writ large?
it’s always sunny in wyrmrest accord actually
I’m wondering if crafting will have any recipes for home decor so players can make some money off of it. Like smithing making weapon / armor stands, or even furniture like cooking stations! Leatherworking making chairs and rugs. Tailoring makes beds and tapestries. Jewelcrafting makes… uh… lighting and uh… shiny things you find in a home? I guess?
Or, barring that, I know another way I can make a lot of money…
[nails sign above door that reads ‘Brothel’]
I was imagining something more along the lines of an exploitative TLC docuseries.
Aside from the brothel…
I guess my main question again is just, what is Blizzard’s idea of player housing?
Do we get things like that or just a place to put trophies and whatnot?
If I’m going to be let down, I want it done quickly and early on so I don’t become invested in “what could be”.
I am slightly worried about this. Because Blizzard does love its trope of “thing you asked for, but somehow worse.”
