Oh also want to see some kind of garden/farm. It doesn’t need to be the same as the one from MoP but definitely take inspiration from it, lots of people and myself included loved the farm from MoP.
Your hearts in the right place, and I actually agree with you, but there are physical server limitations. They can’t just add housing space infinitely. Every neighborhood needs a constantly running instance. FFXIV has been dealing with this issue since day one. The best solution is to just go with ESOs housing system, which is most likely what’s going to happen in the end because they’re both owned by the same company now.

It’s pretty lonely in FFXIV, there’s barely anyone running around to their houses around you unless a specific Free Company is holding an event or something, but there’s not really people outside.
There’s just way too many instances of houses for there to be a decent chance of running into other people. I don’t know how they could make it so you could see people running around your house while in their house.
I’d much rather make the tradeoff of actually being able to get a house over having FFXIV style housing. It sounds good in theory, but if you still don’t even see other people with FFXIV housing it’s not worth it IMO.

I suppose as an alternative they could just drop you in a small npc neighborhood. I mean AI can probably move around better than most players lol.
They gave you player housing.
You hated it, so that tech never got improved after WoD.
My Wishlist comprises only 1 thing, that people stop asking for something they already rejected, wasting resources on something that’s entirely pointless when the game has actual problem they should be fixing instead and plans they should be working on.
Like the busted scaling from 1 to 70.
Like the proposal to update Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.
I liked Garrisons, I’m kinda bummed they didn’t refine that tech because 99% of you all complained you were stuck in them with nothing to do.
And now you want to repeat it.
At least some of the things we already have in garrisons. I want my pets to run about, a place to see all my mounts being taken care of, and at least a half hill like farm where I can get seeds from the current level of content to grow.

Maybe they could have instanced “neighborhoods” for guilds? All plots in the instance are for guild members.
I just want to be able to make a house in Azuremyst using draenei architecture and doodads.
I do not want a repeat of garrisons where we were forced to have it in 1 spot and only use stupid human garbage.

I can have some of my mounts wondering around the area and I can choose which ones are out and not just randoms off my favs list. I have quite a bit on that list at this point.
Yes a stable outside with some selected mounts would be very cool.
I personally didn’t mind garrisons, it was everything else involving WoD that was a disappointment

WoW just needs to copy paste WildStar housing. It was the best housing system ever, and they ain’t using it anymore.
If instanced, I would hope friends can opt in to something like an instanced neighborhood (idk how many houses max would be appropriate).
It would be fun to curate my existence even further in a shared online world lol

I want all my cat pets to be in roaming around my house.
We don’t need to make it a garrison 2.0 that has auction house, bank and crafting gathering building this is what kept people in their garrisons most of time.

Pets can roam around

Trophies of items you got that you put on the wall
