I’m really enjoying myself here and discussing all the ways blizzard can monetize the player apartment system.
I think it is a wonderful system that has a great amount of potential.
I hope you enjoy your time in this forum thread as much as I have, friend
Oh here’s a new one I just thought of:
Decorating fees - you can decorate the walls inside your apartment, however each wall will only be available for decoration after you pay a microtransaction fee to blizzard
I think I’d set mine either to current expansion hub or to Boralus/Dazar’alor. Both of those places portal networks are really nice to have access to.
Thats a very good point.
Think they’d let you build an auctioneer in the player home? I’m fairly sure a Barber chair would be easy enough and maybe bank access. Auctioneer would maybe be a step too far to keep people from messing with the market.
I think the player apartment system would be much better than a garrison upgrade mostly because blizzard would be able to monetize the new apartments and make a lot of money from it.
When blizzard makes lots of money, then the game developers have more resources to develop the game
That’s not at all how that works, if you look at their finances ActivisionBlizzard made MORE money in 2022-23 than any other year prior… but they’re not paying the employees, who live in California by the way, a cent more…
More money from products does not necessarily mean more $$$ for the employees or even reinvested in the product itself, especially with bosses like Kotick.
Hello, friend. I noticed that you offered an opinion in regards to my most recent post. I want to thank you for that opinion but at the same time I want to politely let you know that your opinion is not correct.
Maybe your opinion was not correct, but that’s ok! The great thing about sharing opinions, even if they are incorrect, is that you gave me the opportunity to correct you. Now that you know the correct opinion, you are a better person.
Also I just thought of a new model of monetisation for the new player apartment system that you have advocated for:
Furniture - blizzard could put player apartment furniture in the wow shop and players would be able to use real money to buy furniture for their lovely new apartments.
Thank you for having this discussion with me, I hope you have a lovely day, friend
That’s not an opinion… do you know what an opinion IS? What I provided is a FACT. And a fact by definition is immutable, it’s something that is undeniably true, that’s what makes something a FACT and not a subjective opinion.
Before you leave, I have a new idea for the player apartment monetisation:
Phone lines: players could purchase phones from the wowshop and then pay a monthly fee so they may directly contact other players who are inside of their homes and also have paid the monthly phone bill.
Why would I be leaving my own thread? I was saying goodbye to you and your trolling XD. It’s clear your argument has no leg to stand on, but it’s also clear you’re just here to troll for a reaction, do you so desperately need attention THAT badly?
This is a public forum and I am politely offering my opinions on how to improve your wonderful player apartment system.
I have another one:
Refrigerators - blizzard could sell refrigerators on the wowshop and players could purchase them and put them inside of their new apartments. The utility bill would increase because refrigerators use a lot of electricity. The player could store all of their various cooking mats and food inside of the refrigerator instead of taking space in their bag.
Shoving your opinions down other’s throats and telling how and what they should enjoy is not polite in any setting, why do you insist on propagating lies you know you cannot justify?
I am politely sharing my opinions so that others may have a chance to enjoy the game
I have another one:
Televisions - blizzard could sell televisions in the wowshop and players could purchase a cable plan for a monthly fee. Whenever the player is inside their apartment and their cable bill has been fully paid, the player can watch blizzard e-sports such as the Arena World Championship, Mythic Dungeon Invitational and the Great Push on their television inside the new player apartments
Again, nothing you have done in this thread has been polite, half the threat is you just arguing with posters and telling what and how they should enjoy THEIR gametime they spend money on. You continue to try and derail this thread with your satirically sarcastic “suggestions”… nobody is fooled.
