Tinker. Bard will likely never be a thing, since it hasn’t existed in a warcraft game before, and dark ranger is just an emo hunter.
We literally just need a class with all fishing based abilities XD

It was the Death Knight that raised the Dead.
Which is why we play as Death Knights… Who raise the dead.
If you want a Class that raises the Dead. We have one.
If you want a class that does something other than Raise the dead, then it shouldn’t be called “Necromancer”
I’m not Arguing the point that “They’d be fun” that’s subjective.
What I find fun, and what you find fun can be very different.
I’m arguing that Tinkers obey existing class design paradigms, and are therefore a likely class to be added.
I have evidence that supports that point.
If I wanted to just make a subjective argument. I’d say that Tinkers are Cool and Necromancers aren’t.

I pick bard… to be deleted from any possibility from ever being released in wow like forever.
Bard is a class in other games, but in wow universe, bard its a dumb idea…its as dumb as asking star wars classes into wow.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.
People need to remember that WoW is 15 years old, and it’s STILL based on the same universe.
Saying “we can break lore now because the lore if 15 years old” is really stupid.

totally true…if players truly want bard in world of warcraft then bard should exist in some form of a new profession, a music profession per say.
A profession bard its the only acceptable form for me.

I’d be okay with Profession bard. But it should literally just be playing music.
That’s all a bard in Warcraft would be. A dude who plays music really well. No magic.
meanwhile you don’t need to justify why Tinkers would work. We’ve seen Tinkers take on Dungeon groups, raid groups. ETC.
i imagine being like those rare bard npcs we found in game…bard idk, should be a secondary profession more fitted for maybe buffs, or more for some roleplay stuff environment idk.

Bard would have to be a support class and wow doesnt deal in support classes.
Tinker would be out of place and wouldnt fit with anything really.

Imo Tinker or Dark ranger for me. Bard just doesn’t seem very wow-like, seems more like a Final Fantasy thing imo.
Tinker as a healer / tank could be cool. I want more healer specs.
Blizzard’s island expedition teams, you know how you encounter computer controlled “players” that emulate existing classes?
One of the ones you can find is a team of 3 tinkers. And they clearly are divided into 3 specs. Tank, Healer, and Ranged DPS. Three things this game needs.

Tinker wouldnt fit in with the magic fantasy aspect. Tinker type classes tend to fall more with technology. Using robots as pets, making grenades and throwing them. Making a fancy stun trap. Making better guns like fast shooting revolvers and stuff. Tinkers are the engineering profession.
Myabe make them throw spells in balls? but that would be a bit cheesy and still feel out of place as a full class.
I choose Tinker out of those.

It occurs to me you don’t know what a Tinker is.
Tinker was a specific Hero unit in Warcraft 3. They used Missiles, Turrets, and Mech Suits.
Gelbin Mekkatorque In battle for Dazaralor. He’s a Tinker.
He has gadgets. a Mech, explosives. You name it.
Gazlowe is another one.
And no. The Engineering Profession makes bombs for leveling with 5 minute cooldowns. They don’t have Mechs, Turrets, or anything like that. So no. Those aren’t Tinkers either

You could do a little bit of research before you say things like this.
Tinkers are everywhere, in every expansion. doing the same things. All the time.
Mechs, Turrets, Bombs, and most recently healing.
Agreed. I was kinda disappointed that Bliz redid the whole leveling thing but didn’t introduce a new class. Seems like a wasted opportunity.
Bard. Hands down for me.
