Pick One: Tinker, Bard, or Dark Ranger

I hate to say it but… the dark rangers are just hunters and rouges so…necromancer!! look at the really awesome magic the ogres are using in exiles reach

Tinker…preferably with tank, healing and ranged dps specs!

Id rather see 4th specs added tbh than a new class.

Mage: Time Mage - healer
Priest: Ranged pure Holy dmg dealer - dps
Shaman: Earth Warden - Tank or Astral/Cosmic Shaman - dps
Warlock - Blood Magic - Healer, or A demonic form/pet specific Tank
Hunter - Can add your Tinker spec here or Bard spec - Heals or DPS
Rogue: Can add your Tinker spec here or Bard spec - Heals or DPS
Druid: already good to go but a poison/decay type spec would be neat
DH: Ranged fel class, maybe uses a bow instead of the Glaives
Warrior: Rune Knight DPS class that uses shields but augments dmg - dps
Paladin: Again pure holy ranged dmg dealer using bows w/light arrows or just ranged holy caster dmg - dps
Monk - Pure Chi damage attacks using ranged - dps, bow using Monk
DK - Necromancer spec - healer or DK caster spec

Iunno, slowly adding 4th specs seems easier to balance IMO than a new class. Plus I kinda hate the idea of Bards, Tinkers and Dark rangers being their own class. Wow doesnt do bards/music or support classes, dark rangers seems more like a hunter 4th spec instead of its own class, tinker is what engineering is and shouldnt be a whole class because what happens to Engineering then? Also none of these ideas for another class sound like theyll be able to heal, so meh.

I would like Wardens to be a playable class.

Bard 100% they just wouldn’t be called bards. They also wouldn’t be buff bots like people seem to think that is all they could ever do. Did you know that priests can do things other than heal in this game? And warriors can do more than be the default tank class. Classes can do more than one thing.

Next class needs to wear mail right? Tinkers seem to be an int/plate class to share with holy paladin the only spec in the game to use int/plate.

Never dark rangers.

Chaos Warrior.

That counts right?

I’d vote formtimker Tauren I think would be good tinkers too, they built all those great elevators, so they clearly have a knack for engineering.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

none of these

Bard. All the way. I would play a bard for sure. Make them play like guitar hero.

Holy priest is kinda of a Bard.
Your holy spells are extremely related to music.

Dark Bard with death metal screams, or maybe a Dark Tinkerer (so a Technomancer)

Tinker for me

Tinker. It sounds like a super unique and fun class plus they will most likely will use mail which is necessary for the next class as we only have 2 mail wearers right now. Bard’s could also be pretty unique but I imagine the playstyle will be pretty boring, Dark Ranger’s will be to much like Hunter’s.

Tinker since we do not have anything remotely like that. The way Blizzard would handle bards worries me.

Almost all my toons have engineering, and for me, that is a tinker to a degree.

I like the idea of bard, but really don’t see it working out well. I assume they can heal or DPS and perhaps even tank. I would prefer that they could hold their musical devise as a healer, but if DPS or tank, they would mainly be using their voice.

Dark ranger would be my choice. We need a class that can use ranged hunter weapons.

It already does, naga sirens are in the game.

I vote bard.

Wouldn’t play any of the three.

How can you not have Necromancer on there? It’s been requested since day one. lol

Bard would be my pick.
I have read a few books about bards and they are cool.

yeah believe it or not, I played WCIII before WOW, I disagree with how you determine what a necromancer is in a video game setting. Yes deathknights share some abilities that a necromancer has but they aren’t the same, they are like a battle mage is to a mage or a paladin is to a priest in play style. Not only can you look at D&D online and see this, as they have both classes and they are similar yet different, but even in WOW Kel Thuzad is a necromancer, while Teron Gorefiend is the first deathknight, so yes in cannon there is a distinction and that goes back to WCIII

Yeah tinkers are in WCIII it doesn’t mean everyone will agree with you on which class would be fun to bring into WOW. I like the idea of a bard even if one never existed in WCIII - in case you haven’t noticed, the lore broke from WCIII a lil while back.
