Phase 2 pvp question

Do you guys remember when pvp gear came out in vanilla there was a blue pvp set for lvl 58, then later on they released a blue set for 60 with the same exact name. Any idea on which set they will be releasing?

Its not “updated”, its a different set. And they announced that the original blue set (which can be equipped at 58) will come with Phase 2 and the second set (that was level 60 only) will come in Phase 6.

These are different items:

Phase 2:

What you’re thinking of is that they announced the Epic set will not be “updated” later and will be the 1.12 stats, because it was under-budget (not even as good as T2) when originally released.

The second Blue set is being introduced in Phase 6, because otherwise it invalidates a TON of raid gear through BWL and is easier to get (because it doesnt require poop-sock levels of time to get that rank).

It very clearly states in that blue post that “ The items you earn from the PvP Rank Rewards will be the versions from patch 1.12”

There wont be two versions released in phase 2 and 6. Just the one set released in p2

Yep, phase 2 will unlock the level 60 pvp set. The level 58 set will not exist on classic.
