They’re really rushing through the content, and it’s unfortunate they’re screwing up Classic like this. The vast majority of players are still merrily questing away. You’d think after all these years Blizzard would realize catering to a very small minority of players isn’t the smart move. But they still haven’t learned that lesson.
Honor should’ve been in at the beginning. Phase 2’s release date shouldn’t even exist because it should’ve just been phase 1. People farming for honor is part of the game and the carebear mentality we are seeing now is a result of its absence.
You can claim to be casual all you want, but in order to get to those levels between those 2 characters you’d be somewhere in the 12-15 days played. Just off the top of my head that comes out to what, 4-5 hours every single day since launch? In what world would that be considered casual? Lol. I don’t have a problem with the people who are 60 but come on, you guys always try to downplay how much time you actually put in to do it.
I am 46 with almost 11 days played… what even am I doing?
Also that is not accounting for playing alts…I doubt most players focused on playing one and only one character to rush it to 60.
No, they’re just gonna remove layers and put you in a big 'ole queue.
lol yes. The mega realms are going to get slammed.
They waited until the “majority” of the player base reached 60. The game has been out for well over 2 months now. If you’re not 60 by next Tuesday, then my condolences.
Yeah everyone should be forced to wait for the casual players to eventually find their way to 60.
Not a chance.
All you people complaining about not being 60 for launch of Honor System… why? The only way it will effect you is making it harder for you to climb the system effectively early, since you will be starting late… but honestly, if you aren’t 60 yet, you obviously don’t have the time to climb the ladder anyways, so what does it matter?
What, you will have to deal with flight points being camped? Its going to happen to you regardless of your level.
Layering is independent of server caps and never had an influence in if there is a queue or not.
5 days played to 60, only did dungeons once for quests, and rogues aren’t AoE classes. Don’t waste time in cities spamming for bs, or LFG, and just quest and you actually level really fast, then you can do w/e you want. That 5 days was also with me spending way too much time helping guildies and ganking once I hit the 30s.
I have a level 25 toon on Faerlina that I’m considering deleting or just parking. I like to quest and I imagine that the moment I go into an open zone I’ll be destroyed by Horde more than 10 levels above me for whatever honor that gets them. I’ve not had a lot of time to play on Classic so I’m way behind the curve. I might have to just go play PvE…
On Tichondrius we had a saying ‘Tich’s not for you’
I think this would apply here with some slight modification, “Classic’s not for you”. This is a release for those of us looking for a nostalgic throw back, not for someone with “no idea”. This isn’t somewhere we are looking to coddle the retail player that stumbled into the server and is asking how to turn “warmode” off.
Scurry back to your safe little bluebie servers, and your spoon fed content, and stop saber rattling about canceling your sub. The majority of us don’t care. We got what we asked for, and we like it.
Guess you can’t play given your lifestyle. Try a p-server.
An hour? Lol, do the math, it’s more like 4 hours a day, every single day
if the majority of players will not hit 60 in time for phase 2 i have to wonder why there are so many raiding guilds downing bosses… Considering a raid roster is 40 people. I know of 6 guilds on my server that are at least 8/10 horde side. That would be 240 players.
I am currently 1/4 epic from MC already myself and i am a casual player with 3 kids, a wife, a full time job and other responsibilities. How people are still crying about not being 60 is beyond my comprehension.
Layers prevent server queue’s right now. You will get a queue when they remove layers because they only want a certain amount of players online at any time. So they queue to make that happen without layers. Besides it being the obvious method, it’s what happened to the rest of us when they de-layered us.
Why would phases ever…EVER be 6months, that would mean classic would take longer than original vanilla. Why would you release a 15 year old game on the final and nerfed patch slower than it’s original release speed. People like you should shut up and quit.
Believe it or not. 15 years later some of the people who are coming back to wow have children. We’re not all bachelor’s living alone and playing wow 8 hours a day after work while hating on classes because they’re 5% less effective than ideal and booting people from groups because they’re not fully geared in what some online guide says is BiS.
And if you log in on weekends you’ll see the lv40 and 50 content zones filled up.
