Pets keep coming back, will not dismiss

Usually when I dismiss my pets, they stay dismissed until I call them back. Regardless of if I am on my mount or not.
Now when I dismiss , get on my mount, then get off my mount, the pets return.
Without me calling them.
Is this a change with the last game upgrade ? Or something I did ?

Yeah itā€™s been bugged like this since the last patch. So obnoxious.

itā€™s not something you did.

People have been reporting it as a bug since the patch.
ā€¦itā€™s clearly still happening, not sure how long we have to hold our breath to find out if itā€™s intended or not.

and i sure hope itā€™s notā€¦ itā€™s a nightmare when trying to do stuff like archaeology :expressionless:

I, too, have been having that problem on all my characters with pets and minions. Itā€™s quite annoying, actually, so I hope Blizzard really fixes it soon.

There are some very strange bugs with pets now - my mages elemental appears and disappears randomly. Which is kind of a pain. My hunter pet has the same issue at times.

I was on my hunter earlier and couldnā€™t take Hati aka Goober off of stealth or dismiss him either for a bit.

I think the gameā€™s been bugging.

I hope not intended. If I dismiss, they should STAY dismissed. Right ?

I switched from demo to aff and had felgard for awhile still. Iā€™ve been trying to figure out how to make it stick so I can have a super secret new spec.

Not the Dwarf, but yes. I switched back to Destruction and had a Wrathguard following me for a bit.

To all hunters mages and warlocks with this bugā€¦ could you teach me it so that I can keep xuen as a pet permanently? Thanks

They never test things properly. This ā€œbugā€ is just a lack of QC.

Ever considered your pet has separation anxiety? Poor thing is lonely. You should be ashamed for sending it away.

I havenā€™t yet because I didnā€™t realize it was a bug until this thread - and I havenā€™t been playing much. I will though.
