People have been abusing these mechanics in dungeons to escape guaranteed death. I mean if disabling bubble heart was for a reason to avoid people overusing it, so does people abusing petrification flask and the dungeon teleport. Being teleported out of the dungeon just because you left the group shouldn’t award you a free and safe exit outside. For Classic Hardcore, the dungeon teleport should have a timer of 2 minutes and Petrification Flask should last its 1 minute and then have a 5-10 min…

The major difference between these two threads is that ‘Reithardt’ is at the very least a character on a Hardcore server, so the individual behind the avatar at least has played some HC – unlike ‘Henceforth’. So there’s some credibility, but still not enough. Somebody who actually has a Level 60 character on a Hardcore server (looking at you, Eyr) who earnestly believes that Flask of Petrification is deleterious to the end-game on a Hardcore server would at least be able to demonstrate that they have walked-the-walk.

Slaying Nefarian isn’t really necessary and there are enough guilds that have Molten Core on farm that a Level 60 HC character (even if they haven’t actually raided) is at least speaking from a position from actually playing Harcore at the end-game unlike Henceforth in his thread, or Reithardt in this thread.
