Personal Loot, and Why it needs to return

too much collateral damage.

Life ain’t fair. Get over it.

I inspect people before I ask, unless it’s something I think is going to have a lot of askers.

Listen, man, I need that transmog or I need that gold from someone willing to pay up.

Maybe you should consider rolling higher.

Gear is transitory.

Transmog is forever.

I guess that would work for normal onwards

Can you log out in LFR or does it boot you?

Guess it doesn’t matter tho.

That’s why I find these complain threads pointless if they don’t at least attempt to come up with a better system

It’s easy to bash a system, it’s hard to come up with something better.

The person buying could just port out and back instead of logging.

Part of the problem is the complaints usually boil down to others acting in ways that people disapprove of, but which are not against the rules. The real acceptable solution to some folks is just “I should decide who deserves loot and it’s always going to be only me.”

Yeah I mean the real solution is joining a team that has loot rules you agree with.

The mental exercise of stopping loot selling in LFR specifically. You could add logging out or leaving the instance removes trading eligibility on prior loot, but it’s starting to get a bit excessive

That’s not griefing. It’s rude. It’s perhaps unjust. But it’s not toxic. And it’s not griefing.

Words matter. Use the correct ones. I’d rather be able to trade loot. Personal loot was horrible.

Friends and guild were able to abuse pl since day 1, nothing new here. Being able to trade is a huge plus for loot, doesn’t matter if a some bad apple abuse it, it still a net positive.

Mate, you are wasting your time. This game’s community is long gone. Like LoL, OW, or whatever online game you want to talk about, it’s gone.

This is the new reality. People treat other people poorly.

People were far, far more horrific to one-another early on in this game’s lifespan. To say that this game’s community is long gone would imply it was ever there in the first place.

Who the hell even does LFR

It wasn’t LFR.

It was an actual formed raid.

Yeah, those people are literal scum. Anyone defending it, also scum. D bag mentality. “BuH THey ParTiciIpateD” sthu. That’s the whole point of need or greed. You don’t need it, greed it. Some people’s kids.

If you hate it dont pug, run with a guild instead. What do you expect when you are playing with completely strangers? They don’t care about what loot you get, they will never see you again.

Yeah I get that, there was just something previously about LFR or something so I was basically shouting into the void

is a waste of time. It isn’t against blizzard’s rules, common enough to warrant action even if it were, nor is it what OP is talking about.

PL>GL.

Shouldn’t you be shouting into the sunwell or something?
